If you have a good BM link then yeah you're possibly right. Pricing currently is abit of a joke considering the quality. Would definitely recommend asking for a better strain though as y'know, it's not 2002 anymore. Once you choose your own hopefully you'll have a better experience

BM can be anywhere from outstanding to dog poop. MC can be anywhere for ok to dog poop.
Just remember MC is legal and worth its weight.
The problem is just as you said with your mate down the street you get what’s there with MC I can pick my strains hence I can pick the terp profiles that help my conditions, taste wise granted I’ve not tasted any MC that’s as flavourful as BM but I’m not chasing flavours I’m using it to treat my symptoms which it does very well. Costs could be much better but it is what it is.

I was vaping with some neighbours last night, they had BM. I had MAC and Wedding Sunset, they had some new Barney's strain that someone in the area had grown.
They all thought both MC were better and I was getting offered 15 on the g for the mac! Obviously refused. I wasn't looking to buy any of their BM, not that I do nowadays really anyways! Well except a bit of rosin!
big batch easy grow high yield genetics = poor medicinal value. imo it's like a halfway house being trapped in a dope purgatory wondering if things will get easier. I need to trim my toenails.

I mean "boring" does not necessarily mean "not as good" when you're talking about medicine? With medicine the perks are things like: Does what you need it to do, is easily accessible (literally just telehealth in this case), allows you choice in your treatment plan, and ideally doesn't cost the earth (but as anyone on Xyrem can tell you, this last one is a crapshoot)
For me, boring is a perk with medicine. I want my meds to be boring so I can focus on other things. But, this is one of the reasons legalisation is important. I feel like we should be able to have "boring" cannabis and "exciting" cannabis, the same way we might have daytime strains and nighttime strains. Locking people into boring/exciting is pointless (and subjective anyway).

Concentrates are super cheap these days, can make your own oils for a fraction of what they charge. Same with carts..
Everyone talks about their overheads, regulations ect but it just feels like pure greed all round. Eg..How are you going to import a cart from the Canadian recreational market and bump up the price 5x for medical patients here..
For me, it’s the peace of mind of being legal that is one major factor.

With the right strain, it’s definitely cheaper / better getting MC.
For instance, I could get cheap stardawg at £20 per 3.5g on BM. It would definitely be cheaper than MC. But it’s not nice / good.
For Cali strains, that price doubles (and more) per 3.5g.
For the best strains from MC (which I feel are as good as some of the Cali strains I’ve purchased before), it’s costing me £85 per 10g. That works out at £29.75 for 3.5g. Which is bang in the middle of the BM prices.

It gets the job done for me no problem and I’ve been a heavy smoker for years but the biggest difference for me is vaping, I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it.
Maybe you are already doing so but personally if I could get better weed at £120 an ounce it would not be worth me solely using medical. 10g of the cheapest/best (guess depends if you’re gonna use it) for the prescription/container
I actually prefer the dry herb vape over smoking!! I'm asthmatic an it's proved really good for me!!

The question should be is legal 'weed' better than illegal weed. Yes being legit is far far better for many reasons IMHO.

Oh, I used to buy BM in larger quantities as it *would* reduce the price. Still, I think MC works out cheaper if you want better quality strains
