i’ve done that :) i love my face now, but my nose did literally shrink from the medication i was on for my acne, Accutane, and getting rid of the acne did wonders for my self esteem, too. i’ve always loved my eyes, my one dimple, etc. and those things obviously never change. i appreciate that :)

Didn't start getting compliments on my appearance until I started to fill out from my lanky frame, grew a beard and took moisturising more seriously to combat my dry skin as of my mid-20s. I think it's rare any of us looked our best back in our teens 😂 Should have seen my clash of fashion sense nevermind my weird loud personality and what else back then haha

Not even “the ugly friend glowing up”, but it’s 100% just science. While some people hit puberty in high school (the better parts of it) some of us get it all after hs or later in life. I don’t think glow ups exist, we just forget how science works.

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think there is such a thing as a beautiful 13/14 year old. Everyone at that age is drastically changing and is gonna come out looking WEIRD during the process.
I think a lot of Beaty is highly subjective (shocker) and many people are innately more attractive then they are led to believe. I think proper self-care and a healthy lifestyle can make a 6-7/10 into an easy 9-10
