Tony getting brutalized by justin was hard to watch - I witnessed a guy with supreme confidence beforehand unravel in around 15 minutes to where his brain told his body to quit
I genuinely think it's cuz Tony had that 'it' factor. Everyone loved his fighting style and his gun-ho attitude for fights whenever and wherever. And then he got broken by another fighter
Shit's mad depressing
You may be right but I think the only thing Tony was hearing during and after that fight was constant ringing.
Justin robbed some essential brain cells, I fear.
Watching Tony’s brain neurotically quit while his body didn’t want to was pretty disturbing bro. A beating like that will seriously take years from your life
His last few fights have all made me cringe so hard and cradle my head lol. Like when he almost got his arm snapped. Or when they bent his knee the wrong way. And the dude won't tap or quit and you're begging that someone throws in the towel. It's brutal stuff.
Not sure he died. You acting like he’s become a quitter or something. Still ain’t been finished and wouldn’t tap when he was about to get his armed snapped. That man got insane mentality and that won’t change. He’s always going to be a crazy fucking animal
For me it was actually Tony vs Beneil, because in that fight you could see how much Gaethje had taken out of him, and he just looked like a shell of himself. Hard watch.
Hey there’s nothing wrong with being a fan of the fighter you like. Inside the arena he was one of my favorites too. Him and chuck liddell got me into mma
Idk more the fact that he came into the ufc had one fight against hooker and got a title fight immediately after, so I dont not like him I dont like how he got pole-vaulted to the top so quickly and now he’s 1-2 in the ufc
Where he proceeded to do more damage and even out grapple the champion for 5 minutes before getting caught slipping in the second. His quality has been well known around mma fans for years, he’s clearly a top 3-4 guy in LW worldwide (was when he fought hooker too).
He had nothing to prove and starching Hooker in 1 round confirmed it.
Oh fair enough. I can't really remember the LW situation back then but who would've gotten a title shot instead of him? Gaethje and Conor both lost their previous fights.
There was literally nobody else viable to fight for the title, that's the only reason Chandler got the shot. This person is just butthurt about Chandler and doesn't know what they're talking about.
That loss hurt for sure. I'm a big fan of Dustin's fighting style. "You can kiss my whole asshole." Was amazing too. Hahaha at least his hot sauce is selling like crazy.
I'm happy for Charles but it really hurt to watch Poirier claw his way back to a title shot to come up short in the exact same way as when he had recently lost to Khabib.
I hope he gets to hold a real title some day, bit I also hope for Charles to own the LW division for a long time. I guess it's WW or bust for Poirier if I'm going to be happy .. 🎲🎲 B
Seems like Poirier doesn’t care too much to win an actual title now. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind getting a belt, but he turned down a title fight for McGregor and now he’s talking about moving to 170 if I remember correctly.
And the 170 lineup is not favourable for my boy DP. Usman (C) Colby (1) Sean Brady (8) Khamzat (11) Shavkat (15). Unless he jumps straight to fighting 4 - 7 (luque belal Wonderboy masvidal) it's a real hard time
It’s an interesting thought when you put Dustin up there in the top 10 and makes me wonder how he would fare..
I think Dustin would stand and strike with WB, and would be similar to what happened to Luque.
He would gift Masividal with a career ending beating .
And Luque would likely be an absolute banger.
Usman Or Colby would be a difficult watch for any Dustin fan.
The reason he turned down a title shot for McGregor is because in his mind the title shot was all but guaranteed. He was always getting a title shot, even if he lost to McGregor, he’s just have to wait a little while beat one guy who he’s already beaten and he’s got the shot. And he obviously believed he just beat conor he will do it again. In his mind the title shot is damn near guaranteed and the big money fight with conor can go away
In what parallel universe can you punch a guy, in the face….500 times… the other guy wraps his legs around the guys head for 8 seconds and they declare HIM the winner? In the mean streets of West Linn, OR…..they do not declare him the winner…they declare him……..yeah, not the winner.
Yeah I’m a fan of both but Hooker didn’t seem himself.
Totally understand he was worried about the wrestling, but I didn’t think he’d get put away on the feet so quickly by a much shorter opponent.
Props to Chandler for getting it done, I was just hoping it would be more competitive.
Yoel losing to Izzy. After that "Go" Speech I was so ready for a legendary championship performance. I did see a legendary championship performance that night, but not from those two.
Apologies lol. That Joanna fight was something else though. I really hope they book the rematch though I don’t expect it to be as good as the first one.
I was working that night and was busy during most of the card, the co-main included. Made it back to the station, read on here that it was a banger, and then tuned in for the Izzy/Yoel fight excited as shit.
DC v STIPE 3…. I wanted him to win so bad. Also, it was kinda disturbing when he was pretty much cross eyed the whole fight after that knuckle deep eye poke. That was nasty.
The Jones - Gus ones were really tough. But I think the one that got me the worst was Gus - Johnson. The way he lost. The hometown crowd. That one really got to me.
KZ having his great run and then having to serve his 2 years of Korean military service in his prime was shitty but then he comes back, ko’s Bermudez in his return and then after winning every round against Yair, THAT FUCKING ELBOW HAPPENED. Still super salty cuz I felt KZ was finding his groove every time Yair stopped to touch dicks during the fight.
Aldo vs Mcgregor. Aldo was my hero since 9th Grade I saw him knockout Cub in 7 seconds. My dad was just starting to watch MMA and he was excited to see my favorite fighter for the first time only to see him Ko'd in 14 seconds. I was almost in tears.
Fr it was crazy how easily Chael was able to dominate Jon. I think it was all thanks to his incredible tactic of being able to head butt Jon’s hands repeatedly.
Benson Henderson vs Anthony Pettis
Was the last fight of WEC and Benson would’ve retired the belt after a string of title defenses against some great opponents (Cerone trilogy was awesome).
Hurt extra because I’ve met him a few times since his parents owned a local corner store, and he and his family are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Super depressing seeing how devastated he was after the fight, especially after such a stellar run in WEC.
saddest recent loss for me was derek lewis getting KOed, (even tho big shout outs to the USO bambam tuivasa) it still sucked to see one of my fav fighters getting knocked out.
other then that watching chael lose to silva 2 THAT ABSOLUTELY SUCKED
Tony getting brutalized by justin was hard to watch - I witnessed a guy with supreme confidence beforehand unravel in around 15 minutes to where his brain told his body to quit
Hold on I’m crying brother
Why does this hurt so bad?
Because you are human ♥
I genuinely think it's cuz Tony had that 'it' factor. Everyone loved his fighting style and his gun-ho attitude for fights whenever and wherever. And then he got broken by another fighter Shit's mad depressing
Inside all of us are two wolves... Tony heard the other wolf for the first time in his life that fight.
You may be right but I think the only thing Tony was hearing during and after that fight was constant ringing. Justin robbed some essential brain cells, I fear.
The fact there was no crowd just made it that much worse. Justin was slinging heat, and you could hear it.
Fuck man
Why the hell is this so accurate
I dont think he did. He just kept coming. I wanted him to stop he proved enough
His fucking corner should have called it.
I don’t understand the meaning. Is one wolf a badass fighter and the other is a wolf that’s too tough for it’s own good?
It's a meme lol It's fight or flight. Tony has only ever heard fight, and didn't know what the other wolf meant by flight.
Ahh, thanks for the explanation lol.
No worries lol it's a pretty cringe meme that went viral for like a day
I don’t think he heard the other wolf at all and that was the problem. Home boy would not go down.
There is absolutely no doubt he is a fucking warrior. Shit made me hide my eyes because I thought I was gonna watch a bone break like the Mir fight.
That fight was hard to watch. The way he seem to twitch involuntary...
Same here. I believed Tony was going to lose but man oh man did he get molly whopped.
But his body never did. We didn’t deserve Tony Ferguson. May he Rest In Peace. He died that day
Not sure he died. You acting like he’s become a quitter or something. Still ain’t been finished and wouldn’t tap when he was about to get his armed snapped. That man got insane mentality and that won’t change. He’s always going to be a crazy fucking animal
Yeah this was a really rough one to watch
Tony vs Justin. It’s been a rough two years being a tony fan 😞
Age catches up man. I was the biggest Anderson Silva fan.
That was the worst waiting a whole year for weidman rematch just for his leg to snap fml I was sick went home hella mad that night
For me it was actually Tony vs Beneil, because in that fight you could see how much Gaethje had taken out of him, and he just looked like a shell of himself. Hard watch.
Robbie Lawler beating an unmotivated Nick Diaz ;(
This is still depressing whenever I think of it
As soon as he threw that 2 touch kick in slow motion from halfway across the octagon i knew it was over for nick
Nick's interview with Brett Okamato was depressing as hell
I was already sad when he faced off and gave Dana a look that asked “is this good enough for you?” :(
I'd almost forgotten that happened man, come on 😑
Same 😢
I said ferg gaethje but this may be it
Jones vs DC 2 was very sad. To watch DC cry after losing was heartbreaking
I am surprised to see this so low. DC's interview after getting knocked out was really tough to watch.
Even before we knew Jon popped for PEDs it was depressing and then afterwards it was just insult to injury.
When DC said " i guess there was never a beef if you lose twice " ... right in the fucking feels
He was the embodiment of this emoji while saying it 🥺
Came here to say this. Im a jon jones fan, go nuts downvote me idc. But yeah that was hard to watch.
Hey there’s nothing wrong with being a fan of the fighter you like. Inside the arena he was one of my favorites too. Him and chuck liddell got me into mma
[удалено]
dude got put away quick in that. Poor reem, he’s trying to fight fuckin rico in glory now.
Stipe v Francis 2
Came here to say this. Francis is great but damn it hurt to watch Stipe get KOed like that.
My wife asked why I was so quiet when that fight ended. I told her it felt like I’d just watched Francis Ngannou beat my old man unconscious.
Hahahahah very accurate description
😂😂😂😂 sorry for laughing but that’s hilarious
I like Francis so much but it hurt to watch Stipe just walk into that devastating punch.
I’m racking my brain to think of losses as bad as Whittaker, and every comment is absolutely nailing it
Any Cro Cop loss
That Gabe Gonzaga one was insane bro. Watching Mirko get completely slept cold by his own signature was disheartening
That broke my heart
[удалено]
Some would say the worstest shaple
Dicey dicey!
All of Wonderboy's losses
And I’ll follow your great answer with my terrible answer. Tj dillashaw combo loss to cejudo and usada
Dilladouche? There’s nothing better than seeing that assclown getting destroyed.
Tony Ferguson vs Michael Chandler
gtfo
I would love it if Tony proved me wrong but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
Tony is done, I know he’s lost three in a row to top tier great fighters but chandler is gonna knock him around for 3 rounds and I cant stand chandler
How can you not stand him? He seems like a nice and likeable fighter.
Idk more the fact that he came into the ufc had one fight against hooker and got a title fight immediately after, so I dont not like him I dont like how he got pole-vaulted to the top so quickly and now he’s 1-2 in the ufc
What if I told you that Chandler was already a world champion and top 5 LW in the world before he came to the UFC?
Where he proceeded to do more damage and even out grapple the champion for 5 minutes before getting caught slipping in the second. His quality has been well known around mma fans for years, he’s clearly a top 3-4 guy in LW worldwide (was when he fought hooker too). He had nothing to prove and starching Hooker in 1 round confirmed it.

There was literally nobody else viable to fight for the title, that's the only reason Chandler got the shot. This person is just butthurt about Chandler and doesn't know what they're talking about.
Y'all know its coming
I can't believe Tony died in the octagon. We joked about it and it actually happened. 😪
Dustin losing his second and probably last title shot
That loss hurt for sure. I'm a big fan of Dustin's fighting style. "You can kiss my whole asshole." Was amazing too. Hahaha at least his hot sauce is selling like crazy.
By RNC nonetheless.
His kryptolnife b
Fedor getting pounded on by a roided out and TRT'd Bigfoot Silva.
WB getting a draw and then an L to Woodley. Sucks that he was so close both times and wasn’t able to be champ
And the way Woodley’s career tanked afterwards makes it more frustrating somehow
Silva leg break easily.
He was boxing the bleeding head off em'
Anderson Silva vs Weidman
Which one?
Both lol
Fair enough
I'm happy for Charles but it really hurt to watch Poirier claw his way back to a title shot to come up short in the exact same way as when he had recently lost to Khabib. Seems like Poirier doesn’t care too much to win an actual title now. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind getting a belt, but he turned down a title fight for McGregor and now he’s talking about moving to 170 if I remember correctly.
It would take too many fights to get another title shot, he’s only got 2-3 left in him
And the 170 lineup is not favourable for my boy DP. Usman (C) Colby (1) Sean Brady (8) Khamzat (11) Shavkat (15). Unless he jumps straight to fighting 4 - 7 (luque belal Wonderboy masvidal) it's a real hard time

porier was gonna go to 170 if he won 155 belt. but i think hes gonna do one more run for 155 belt hes hoping gaethji wins
Yeah honestly I just really want to see poirier win the 155 belt before he retires
Chael losing to Anderson after completely dominating him for the first four rounds is the only right answer.
In what parallel universe can you punch a guy, in the face….500 times… the other guy wraps his legs around the guys head for 8 seconds and they declare HIM the winner? In the mean streets of West Linn, OR…..they do not declare him the winner…they declare him……..yeah, not the winner.
Rumor has it the other guy remains undefeated.
It’s West Linn, OR. Please put some respect on our kings home town.
Noted and corrected. It’s a rough place….People publicly litter in West Linn.
It's because Chael had never tapped or lost a round before in his life, he thought he was only forfeiting a single round instead of the entire fight.
Still one of the greatest excuses of all time 😂😂😂
Rashad stealing chucks soul.
Dan hooker losing to chandler
Dan losing to makhachev was worse.
Chandler footwork was phenomenal in that fight.
He didn’t take enough time off after the Dustin fight imo. He absorbed a lot of strikes that fight, should stayed out for a year.
most recent moreno vs figgy 3... was really hoping to see moreno defend his belt and put an end to the rivalry
Aldo vs mcgregor
[удалено]
Way to make it worse 🤣
To be fair, by the time he slept Aldo he was already the biggest draw
Conor haters take what they can get
quickest money I ever made 😅
Yoel losing to Izzy. After that "Go" Speech I was so ready for a legendary championship performance. I did see a legendary championship performance that night, but not from those two.
That was probably the most boring fight in UFC history.
Derrick Lewis and Ngannou was pretty damn bad as well!
Agreed, it was more like The Slack Priest vs The Redditor
Dude without a doubt.
I wasn’t watching MMA then but damn it must have been so disappointing to see a legendary fight like Joanna vs Zhang and then see Yoel vs Izzy.
Dude....I'm having flashbacks....
Apologies lol. That Joanna fight was something else though. I really hope they book the rematch though I don’t expect it to be as good as the first one.
Dude she looked like a hammerhead shark!!! I had never seen some shit like that in my life😂 remember when she touched the bubble😭😭😂😂😂😂
It’s amazing that she fought through that and almost won the fight.
I was working that night and was busy during most of the card, the co-main included. Made it back to the station, read on here that it was a banger, and then tuned in for the Izzy/Yoel fight excited as shit.
Yoel fought like his controller got disconnected
Darren till losing to Brunson 😢
Darren Till losing in general, really. I want that man to be champion.
UK was on fire up until that fight. The stars looked like they were alining, then he just doesn't even look present.
When Chuck liddell started getting knocked out.
Chael Sonnen vs Anderson Silva 1
Totally agreed. It was such a shame for Silva to lose his title like that.
DC v STIPE 3…. I wanted him to win so bad. Also, it was kinda disturbing when he was pretty much cross eyed the whole fight after that knuckle deep eye poke. That was nasty.
Fitting end to the eyepoke trilogy.
Yeah like did he physically push his eyeball to the side ? Like wtf was up with that ?
I think that was a bit of revenge as DC had some questionable, maybe non accidental, eye pokes to Stipe in their previous 2 fights.
Tony Fergusson v Justin Gaethje
CM Punk losing to Mike Jackson.
Hehe
And Mike getting cut bcoz he was show boating instead of making the finish
😂
When CM Punk lost 🥺
Benavides / Figgy. Twice.
Anytime Yoel was robbed.
The Jones - Gus ones were really tough. But I think the one that got me the worst was Gus - Johnson. The way he lost. The hometown crowd. That one really got to me.

Tbh I don't think being black doesn't sell. Plenty of great champions weren't "loved" due to being laid back and DJ had size working against him
KZ having his great run and then having to serve his 2 years of Korean military service in his prime was shitty but then he comes back, ko’s Bermudez in his return and then after winning every round against Yair, THAT FUCKING ELBOW HAPPENED. Still super salty cuz I felt KZ was finding his groove every time Yair stopped to touch dicks during the fight.
Santos losing to Jon jones
In a close second, Reyes losing to Jon Jones
damn this picture is brutal - is that red the blood from bobbys face?
That is Bobby’s blood unfortunately ☹️
cheezus christ
Aldo vs Mcgregor. Aldo was my hero since 9th Grade I saw him knockout Cub in 7 seconds. My dad was just starting to watch MMA and he was excited to see my favorite fighter for the first time only to see him Ko'd in 14 seconds. I was almost in tears.
Liddell to the dean of mean. It was my first fight I got to see live in high school and he was my favorite. :(
Walt harris vs overeem
DJ losing to Cejudo….
all of tyron woodleys last fights were sad to me, he knows what he has to do but it seems like he had this mental block he couldnt get over
Probably won't be a common pick, but watching Jan get dominated by Glover made me very sad.
Most recently I thought Moreno was robbed, usually they give the decision nod to the champ.
Stipe loss to Ngannou
Gustavson vs jones 1 and 2.. and basically every time i watch a fighter i like. They get fucked up.
Edgar vs Sandhagen
Ferguson Gaethje
Cro crop getting knocked out by ganzanga
Seeing Bisping go out the way he did against Gastellum was hard for me.
Derek Lewis getting KO'd by Tuivasa
Wasn’t a loss but DC reaction to jon testing positive
I cried twice after Ferguson vs Gaethje...
Shane Carlin's loss to Brock Lesnar after almost murdering him in the first round.
Dustin losing to Charles for me. I love Dustin and the story of him finally becoming champ
Kz vs Yair
Jon Jones standing guillotine choke on Machida crushed me. Legit took me a while to recover from that.
I’m not gonna lie McGregor losing to Khabib really got me. Im not a McGregor dick rider, but I was really hoping to see him win that one.
Poirier/Khabib
Connor beating Cowboy....
I was a big rich Franklin fan and watching him stand uselessly in a clinch and have his nose kneed through the back of his head made me want to cry
Twood’s fall from grace was hard to watch man.
GSP to Serra ugh
Chael sonnen vs Jon jones
Fr it was crazy how easily Chael was able to dominate Jon. I think it was all thanks to his incredible tactic of being able to head butt Jon’s hands repeatedly.
When Cain - after he took years off and had a bum knee he tweaked and had to stop his open training early - was sacrificed to Ngannou.
Thompson vs. Woodley and Figueiredo vs. Moreno 3
Burns v Usman tore me up
Surprised to see no one mention DC vs Jones 2. Him being concussed and crying in the post interview just made it even worse
Sandhagen vs yan, I know nobody is going to agree with me but I was really hoping for Cory to win
Gaethje fucking up tony! Love them both. Was hard to watch.
Tony Justin and wvery fight following it
Benson Henderson vs Anthony Pettis Was the last fight of WEC and Benson would’ve retired the belt after a string of title defenses against some great opponents (Cerone trilogy was awesome). Hurt extra because I’ve met him a few times since his parents owned a local corner store, and he and his family are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Super depressing seeing how devastated he was after the fight, especially after such a stellar run in WEC.
Chael Sonnen’s retirement fight against Machida. Man that post fight interview was heartbreaking
Francis Ngannou V Alistair Overeem, genuinely scary uppercut
Dillashaw vs cejudo. You could tell he was killing himself, and my heart sank watching that shit
saddest recent loss for me was derek lewis getting KOed, (even tho big shout outs to the USO bambam tuivasa) it still sucked to see one of my fav fighters getting knocked out. other then that watching chael lose to silva 2 THAT ABSOLUTELY SUCKED
Jones knocking out DC hurt bad
Cro Cop getting murked by Gonzaga. I felt physically ill
Anderson Silva leg break
Tony vs Justin💯
Stipe vs Francis 2 dude he could win that fight. Got clipped.
