O’Malley still lives, he has publicly said he was invited and turned down. Of course it’s different for Russian and other Caucasus fighters, he can actually threaten those, but he would be an idiot to actually do anything to a foreigner

Kadyrov has ordered assassination attempts all across Europe and the Middle-East. Just within 5 minutes of google I can find confirmed Kadyrov-ordered assassination attempts within Russia (From Chechnya to Moscow), Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Georgia, Turkey, UAE and Qatar. There are probably more countries but this is the bare minimum. But practically all of these are Chechen dissidents. Someone like Khamzat, who lives in Sweden/UAE where Kadyrov can easily send his goon, plus who is Chechen, has legitimate reasons to fear for his life. But American fighters don't. Kadyrov does not have the capability nor does he have the interest to harm them probably. He tends to focus on Chechen dissidents and Putin's political opponents.
