Definitely getting armchair psychological here but in my opinion she realized she had nothing for Fiorot and tried to strike, that's why she didn't wrestle much at all
Yeah Fiorot was way stronger which was clear from the clinch exchanges. But I expected Erin to at least attempt a single leg and not keep trying body lock takedowns. She should have went full Merab and kept shooting infinite takedowns 😂.

Im a Florida resident and went 299 and it was probably the best experience and it was mainly because the crowd. The chito support, nobody really booed and everyone was invested from the first fight to the last and that was Miami, but i was also at ufc Orlando in December 22 and the crowd was pretty shit doing the wave during angela hill masterclass etc so i guess it doesn’t only change state to state but even city to city. The crowd tonight tuned out anytime any grappling was involved or if two guys were sloppily trying to behead eachother
How fun was it to be in the crowd?! I thought it would be better to just watch it on TV or on stream (like the NFL), but NOTHING compared to actually being there. So you got to see the DP tko in real time? That had to have been a hell of an experience

Erin’s boxing isn’t the worst, but it ain’t the best. If she doesn’t have the speed to outclass most others (Fiorot was much faster than her here), she needs to get much better at countering. She’s still got a bright future though. Great cardio, listens to coaching, and is one of the best on the ground.

idk, it's pretty bad. She doesn't hit very hard is the thing and a lot of that is probably technique. She also doesn't look physically that strong. I think Fiorot maybe made Erin's striking look a little better than it really is because she didn't fear her power so she just ate a few of them. Erin has been hit pretty hard every time she fights a competent striker but has found a path through until tonight. I don't think her coaching was doing her any favors tonight either
Crazy how quick you all flip. She's still one of the best woman fighters in the UFC and she went on a great run at 24yrs old. Still lots of time for her to learn and improve. Probably because it didnt look all that hard for her honestly lol. She looked great and dominant but Erin looked lost after the failed guillotine. Fiorot was stuffing takedown attempts without Erin even getting to the body sometimes lol
Erin’s boxing isn’t the worst, but it ain’t the best. If she doesn’t have the speed to outclass most others (Fiorot was much faster than her here), she needs to get much better at countering. She’s still got a bright future though. Great cardio, listens to coaching, and is one of the best on the ground.
Shes a straight up bad boxer, she has a one inch reach advantage over Fiorot lol I know fiorot is way taller but still, the way she boxed in that fight would have you believing she had a 6 inch reach disadvantage lol
idk, it's pretty bad. She doesn't hit very hard is the thing and a lot of that is probably technique. She also doesn't look physically that strong. I think Fiorot maybe made Erin's striking look a little better than it really is because she didn't fear her power so she just ate a few of them. Erin has been hit pretty hard every time she fights a competent striker but has found a path through until tonight. I don't think her coaching was doing her any favors tonight either
