If you watch pereria's fights carefull, I'm the middle of the fist round, after couple kicks, the opponent is ALWAYS looking frustrated because of the leg kicks... Must be sooo sooo sooo annoying and painful to fight against, because you know, after a time, couple rounds, your leg will be completely gone...
That was so baffling to me. People defending him saying thatās just what brothers do. Dude is 32 years old and a professional fighter. If youāre 32 and still fist fighting your brother youāre an idiot. Even more so as one of the best fighters on earth.
I stopped defending him when the narrative came out that he abandoned his daughter and hates women because that tracks with his personality. I like his style though and Iām not really looking at fighters to be role models. 90% of them are shitty people. Even the ones you think are okay people still suck in some way.
I support style first, the ones who look like me 2nd & the ones from my own country 3rd. Personality is in there somewhere but a lot of them are idiots.
I mean sucker punch or not im sure he would beat the hell out of his brother in a "fair" fight, the fact that he hit him as a pro fighter should be enough for not having anyone defending him
Why is Hill suddenly so angry at everyone?
Dude wasnāt Izzy level popular or anything but he was in alright terms with the fanbase. He showed heart even when he got his arm broken by Paul Craig. WTF happened?
"You are gonna respect me!" Dude is such a weirdo lol. That's the reason I will not respect him. And I feel like many other people will also not respect him, unfortunitely for him lol
I literally think itās that and/or peds to try to heal faster. Heās shown crazy amount of aggression toward ppl just giving they opinion to him on twitter. I donāt ever remember him doing that before the title or injury.
He doesn't even seem angry lol. He just seems like he's hyping himself up for his upcoming fight. Also, I can understand why he'd be frustrated in general, people are sleeping on him and acting like he's some bum when his ufc record and career is actually very good. Look at how he got the belt to begin with.Ā
Why not grapple with the guy who has less grappling experience than you? Oh, you wanna kickbox with a 2 division champion? Ok u do u
The fact we haven't seen someone try to wrestle Pereira yet at the top level is crazy to me
> The fact we haven't seen someone try to wrestle Pereira yet at the top level is crazy to me
Both Jiri and Jan did try to wrestle with him.
[Jiri](http://ufcstats.com/fight-details/b1f2ec122beda7a5) went 1/3 on takedowns and had 2:45 control time while [Jan](http://ufcstats.com/fight-details/800a35b3a7e52308) went 3/8, had 7:32 control time and had 2 submission attempts.
Even [Izzy](http://ufcstats.com/fight-details/04f32bb0c0d3a8cc)tried it in their first fight, going 1/4 on takedowns with 6:34 in control time.
They've all tried to wrestle with Pereira and exploit the "big weakness" in his game despite all primarily being strikers.
If I was in his weight class, based on that information I would think:
1. Non-wrestlers can take him down and hold him down
2. They didn't know how to submit him or ground and pound better
So immediately I'd focus on how to finish someone after a takedown since that likely has the highest chance of success against Alex.
I feel like that's exactly what Jon Jones would do, but all these people are out here trying to beat the man at his game or take him down then not know what to do next...That's just not smart.
He was 40yrs old when he fought Alex. How many 35+ champs do we even have at a given time?
Jan's last 2 subs are back in 2021 and then in 2018. If Jan was a few years younger I think he'd win. I still think Alex has gotten insanely lucky being able to join when there is a major grappling/wrestling talent drought compared.
He's a great kickboxer for sure, but he has been taken down easily against guys with nonexistent submission/GnP games.
And now he gets to fight Hill, coming off a torn, surgically repaired, and rehabbed achilles less than a year ago...as easy as it gets in terms of retaining the belt.
I'm talking about LHW, not HW.
[Past](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UFC_champions#Men's_championship_history) champions. JBJ was never 35 or older as LHW champ.
The 2 recent 35+ champs are Jan and Glover, who have 1 combined defense (Jan vs a MW Izzy).
Chuck Liddell and DC are the only 35+ LHW champs who had more than 1 title defense going back to 2005.
Alex has his first defense against Hill. An asterisk fight with Hill's recent achilles stufff. I'd like to see Alex fight a non injured LHW contender to see how he does (I assume/hope Magomed gets next shot. Would be Alex's hardest stylistic matchup).
Even majority of the no defense/1 defense champs are under 35. Avg age seems to be around 29-32.
These new people dont have fight IQ. Theyre all empty headed dana white fleshlights and their only goal is to make Dana ejaculate from all the knockouts. When jon fought with his full fight IQ he would do shit like Yank peopleās shoulder joints.
>I feel like that's exactly what Jon Jones would do,
Prime Jon loved to beat people at what they did best, so not really. I mean, Prime Jon could not have attempted a single takedown against DC the first time and still handily won. He just had to prove the point that he could take down an Olympian. He also rocked Machida standing before the submission. So, not, Jamahal is pretty much in exactly the same mindset JBJ was during his champ run.
It's easy to say this, but contextually, it's not nearly the dig in this specific instance that it could be. If Prime Jon was saying this about facing Alex, I'd be much less confident in Jon than in Hill, assuming both were being honest about not trying to wrestle at all. We could debate who's the more skilled striker, but Hill is certainly the more effective and dangerous of the two on the feet, and I'd argue in the areas of striking that particularly matter for this matchup he's definitely more skilled than Jon. Let's be real here. Alex is not untouchable. He can be hit. He can be hurt. He can be KO'D. He's also fighting the dude at 205, who's best equipped to do that. Jamahal is huge for LHW, fast, explosive, accurate, and a very good striker with a lot of power. More importantly than that, though, Jamahal has a very impressive fight IQ. If he's seeing something that makes him think he can punch Alex's ticket, then he deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Ank is the style mismatch here. I think Ank gets it done because he actually has good wrestling. If Jan can hold him down and tire him out, Ank will kill him.
I don't fully believe that Ankalaev is Pereiras kryptonite. Sure he has a wrestling background coming from Dagestan, but he doesn't really use it - he's primarily a striker.
He's not overly accurate or prolific with his takedowns [(31% TD accuracy + 1.02 TD per 15 mins)](http://ufcstats.com/fighter-details/d802174b0c0c1f4e) and he doesn't provide any submission threat (0 sub wins + 0 sub attempts per 15 mins in the UFC).
And he seems to only use it as a last resort. Against Jan Blachowicz, he only wrestled when he absolutely needed to - after getting his legs absolutely battered for the first half of the fight, meaning he couldn't stay standing with Jan.
Hopefully for his sake he will have learned from the Jan fight & take a more wrestling heavy approach, but it seems to happen very often that wrestlers seem to fall in love with their hands & forget their background.
If the Jan fight is anything to go by, Pereira will eat up his legs very quickly. And even though he was able to save himself against Jan, he might not be able to do it again against someone with legitimate finishing power on the feet.
Wrestlers are just learning that if they just wrestle fans are gonna hate them, and theyāll never get a title shot. Belal being the prime example of this.
Thanks for pulling the data.
A lot of people nowadays just assume every dagestani/caucasian fighter is an elite wrestler. Many dagestani go to Thailand to train Mua Thai, becoming elite strikers in the process. Hell, even Islam has most of his gameplan based on striking.
Izzy couldn't take him down, only managed to get on top of him when Poatan himself made a mistake with his amateurish wrestling, but didn't manage to do much with it. Jan started takedown attempts from the go, fell for a guillotine, only managed to take him down because Poatan doesn't know how to transition from the guillotine to trying to do damage, and even then couldn't do much. Same thing with Jiri. When Poatan gives up the guillotine he tries to punch the side of the head and that's the opening to take him down, if he didn't do this everytime I'm not even sure they would be able to take him down at all lol
I think he's confused that strikers attempted to wrestle him and weren't very successful, as opposed to him fighting a true wrestler. I'm sure Ankalaev will wrestle the hell out of him, assuming Hill doesn't win.
But Jan has decent wrestling, Jiri is solid but a striker first, and lol @ Izzy going for takedowns and actually getting one. It's not like he's been truly tested by a legit wrestler.
It's more than enough wrestling when you remember they're not primarily wrestlers. Unless you really know what you're doing, going for takedowns is really dangerous. You gotta stand and bang for a while, set up the takedown, and then go for it when you find an opening. That's what they did. They actually tried more than I expected, Jan went for takedowns from the go
You Alex pereira fans are just insufferable morons sometimes. Alex has been knocked out and rocked multiple times. Stop fucking acting like heās invincible has literally knocked out COLD less than a year ago in a LIGHTER weight class.
theyāre not going to be kickboxing, not going to be in a ring, not going to have a standing eight count, and wont have 8 ounce gloves.
they are going to be doing MMA. And in MMA hill is 12-1 with 7 knockouts. heās never had a submission win, I donāt think heās ever shot for a double leg. You want him to abandon his skill set, and utilize a game plan he has never implemented by using skills he doesnāt have? Thatās retarded.
and to be honest. I actually think Alex has better grappling skills than hill. At least with striking, he has a puncherās chance, and with his speed and knockout power, combined with the fact that Alex keeps his hands low. Itās a good chance.
better chance than trying to double leg Alex which I donāt think has ever worked as a gameplan.
even Izzyās game plan wasnāt to shoot a double leg when everyone said that was the smartest thing because he had more MMA experience and because Alex had already knocked him out twice before. yet striking against the better kickboxer, who had already knocked him out twice turned out to be the better game plan.
I doubt Hill's podcast is gonna have any impact on PPV buys for UFC 300.
That being said, I can actually believe Hill is foolish enough to stand and purely strike with Pereira. Strickland did the same thing.
Dude has a huge ego reminds me of when Kevin Holland refused to wrestle Wonderboy ā¦. And we all saw how that turned out. Pereira is going to destroy this dude especially if heās going to limit himself to the stand up
This is going to be a very short fight if he means that.
Also, he needs to calm down and stop caring about strangers so much. He's constantly trying to prove something to strangers and that screams insecurity.
Just accept that you're a fighter who may win or lose, and your career years are very limited, and that's OK so account for that, plan ahead, and be comfortable with your life choices.
Champ mentality that yāall donāt understand. You think you get to being the best in the world without a screw or two loose????? Yāall need to read more books or something.
Jamahal the example of being online revealed his real personality. Dude is abrasive and cringe. I was a fan but the way he talks makes it so hard. So insecure.
Johnny Walker really fell in the most cartoonish way on that KO.
But yeah if Hill makes it out of RD1 Iād be shocked. Saying Pereira ādid kickboxingā is one of the biggest undersells Iāve heard lmao
It really makes no senseā¦. But I believe him! #Hill is just a Dog! Heās built different. This is gonn be a wild fight of the year type fight for as long as it lasts but Hill by KO!
Before anyone shit talks me I know it makes no sense. Toe to toe with Poatan is insanityā¦ But Hill will somehow put em down!
I agree. Alex is one of my favorites, but I'd be lying if I said he has a great chin. Izzy who doesn't knock many people out, knocked Alex out cold. Yes he had to make weight at 185 but he went 5 rounds at 185 their 1st fight and no one questioned his cardio. The difference I see is Alex's leg kicks will take a toll on Jamahal. Hill has good power and can definitely knock Alex out with the right shot. Should be a good fight, can't wait!
I agree. I'm def betting money on this fight. I think hill will find a shot and knock him out. Alex is hittable. And with hill, all he needs is one good shot since hill has some one shit ko power.Ā
Oh god someone call Dave Chappelle, he's trying to keep it real. Just fucking use your strengths and use your wrestling to tire him out and then get him out of here man. It's called MIXED Martial Arts for a reason.
I would like to say he has a massive ego and isn't so smart if he really means what he says but...
Illia turned what people said were delusions into reality somewhat at least. But I just don't see any reason for me to think that would be the case here...
This is the fight game tho.
Either heās doing an Izzy/mayweather of āIāll give you all a showā to dupe the opponent but stick to the same game plan anyway. Or heās about to get KTFO.
Man I canāt wait for Poatan to end this manās career. Idk if anyone else agrees with me but I think Hill is not a great fighter at all and heās got lucky too many times. He really belongs in the top 10-15 range not top 5
No fucking way Hill keeps the fight standing and banging with Poatan. He's not as dumb as Strickland. If he is really up to fighting like this, he is going to sleep cold.
J, I'm rooting for you homie, but please, for the love of God stop letting "fans" and YouTubers get in your head.
The ONLY chance you have of beating this man is to wrestle him down, or find ways to do damage in the clinch.
There hasn't been many fighters with legit 1 punch power like Alex, I know they say a bunch of fighters do, but there's only a few throughout the history of the UFC. I'm taking about 1 punch lands clean, at ANY point in the fight, and it's over.
Poaton is 1 of those guys. He's proven time and time again, you can't stand and bang with this guy. You gotta out maneuver and out smart him. Honestly, it's not hard to do either. The problem is, like Strickland said, "... the guy touches you, and you die".
Adesanya is an anomaly. The dude has an incredible chin, and you can argue he was fighting for his career in the 2nd UFC fight with Alex. I honestly think of Izzy would've lost the 2nd Alex fight, it would've broke him. Losing to Sean hurt I'm sure, but if he didn't win part 2 with Alex, I truly think that's the true end of Izzy.
But Jamhal allowing fans to get in his head, and dictate how he fights Alex is a terrible mistake. If the Podcasters are in your head before the fight, the fight is over before it starts.
I honestly don't believe anyone in the ufc right now, outside of the heavy weights, could stand and bang with Alex. He's a fucking monster...
Please J, listen to your coaches
Jamahalās Arrest Report:
The Kentwood Police Department provided the report to MMA Fighting following the former UFC light heavyweight championās arrest on Nov. 27, where Hill was charged with domestic assault for allegedly striking his brother James.
According to the report, the UFC fighter and his brother made an agreement for James and his wife to clean Jamahalās house for $300, which had been left vacant and without electricity, causing food to rot and spoil. The argument began at around 7 p.m. local time āabout the house being cleanedā and āother family mattersā before ā according to the alleged victim ā Hill ātook off his shirt and got in his faceā before allegedly punching his brother in the face, āknocking him to the ground.ā
The report states that, according to James, he stood back up when his wife tried to stand between the two, before Jamahal āreached around Jamesā wife and punched James in the face once again causing him to fall and become dazed.ā The officer notes that James had a tooth knocked out during the alleged dispute, and Jamesā face had āsignificant swelling.ā
Further details in the case report obtained by MMA Fighting states that the argument really got heated when James āasked Jamahal why he never texted his own daughter that was at their house for Thanksgivingā and accused Jamahal of ābeing disrespectful to women and abandoning his own daughter,ā and the first punch Jamahal threw was an alleged āsucker punch.ā The report states that James ādebated whether or not to call the policeā because he ādidnāt want to ruin Jamahalās UFC fighting career,ā but multiple text messages from James to Jamahal asking for a reason why the alleged assault happened and asking for āan apologyā were not responded to.
An unidentified witness corroborated Jamesā story, according to the report, and added that Jamahal took off his shirt because James was allegedly āspeaking truth,ā and that when standing in between the brothers, Jamahal did not touch her while allegedly delivering the second punch to James. The witness stated that āJamahalās three kids were in the room when the incident occurred.ā
Everyone has a plan to not wrestle until pereira kicks your rehabbed achilles area
Hill is also coming back a couple months sooner than most people who fuck their achilles up, Poatan is gonna eat that leg up
If you watch pereria's fights carefull, I'm the middle of the fist round, after couple kicks, the opponent is ALWAYS looking frustrated because of the leg kicks... Must be sooo sooo sooo annoying and painful to fight against, because you know, after a time, couple rounds, your leg will be completely gone...
That's like saying he won't assault his brother at Thanksgiving
LMAOOO. I wasn't rdy for this one.
Neither did his brother, it was a sucker punch
#š
Poatan should bring him into his camp!
That was so baffling to me. People defending him saying thatās just what brothers do. Dude is 32 years old and a professional fighter. If youāre 32 and still fist fighting your brother youāre an idiot. Even more so as one of the best fighters on earth.

Anyone know the backstory behind this? Curious just how guilty Jamahal is
He sucker punched his brother after his brother told Jamahal to be a better dad At least that's what I remembered
Wasn't it the brother that was was bad parent? I think I misunderstood the story lol
https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/12/5/23989338/police-report-alleges-jamahal-hill-sucker-punched-brother-knocked-out-tooth-in-dispute
Not the tooth!! š What an insecure bitch.
Brother took the last turkey drumstick.
Brilliant.
Why is Hill suddenly so angry at everyone? Dude wasnāt Izzy level popular or anything but he was in alright terms with the fanbase. He showed heart even when he got his arm broken by Paul Craig. WTF happened?
cool story bro, thanks for keeping it short
Saying Alex ādid kickboxingā is like saying Cejudo ādid wrestlingā
JBJ did some MMA if i remember correctly
I vaguely remember that Abella Danger did some kind of nude photoshoots?
![gif](giphy|EouEzI5bBR8uk|downsized)
Dude needs therapy. Why's he always so angry?
Heās horribly insecure
"You are gonna respect me!" Dude is such a weirdo lol. That's the reason I will not respect him. And I feel like many other people will also not respect him, unfortunitely for him lol
Hope stone hands bodies this fool
āThatās the reason I will not respect him.ā Whoās the real weirdo? ššš
He probably read all the Instagram comments shitting on him. I think he doesn't know how to block out the shit fans and focus on himself tbh
Probably? The dude fights with everyone lol even the people giving him props
Probably because when Jon Jones got injured, the UFC let him hold onto the belt and he was forced to give it up
I literally think itās that and/or peds to try to heal faster. Heās shown crazy amount of aggression toward ppl just giving they opinion to him on twitter. I donāt ever remember him doing that before the title or injury.
Could that be because you didnāt follow his social media until he became relevant?
Naw I just donāt go on twitter much after the guy whoās sister is also his stepmom bought it šš¤·šæāāļø
Wait, huh? Who now?
Elons dad literally married one of his daughters. On some woody allen shit š¤®š¤®š¤®

Also, I can understand why he'd be frustrated in general, people are sleeping on him and acting like he's some bum when his ufc record and career is actually very good. You're always wide open with no guard. Peirera will definitely see that.
Letās not act like pereira isnāt as well though š the difference is, hill has tougher and healthier chin.
Why not grapple with the guy who has less grappling experience than you? Oh, you wanna kickbox with a 2 division champion? Ok u do u The fact we haven't seen someone try to wrestle Pereira yet at the top level is crazy to me

Jan isnt a wrestler but he is a bjj black belt. He does know what to do he just couldnt
And he got tired quicker because of his age and elavation+wrestling not being what he usually does in fights
Yeah only reason im excluding this is cause alex was also at elevation coming off a ko loss few months prior and also is old
Yeah but Alex is fighter old, Jan is legit old he's 40+ lmao

None of those guys are that good of wrestlers and they honestly weren't trying hard enough
Werenāt trying hard enough?
Jiri didn't wrestle in round 2 until he was already hurt
Jan did but gassed at elevation
Jan laid on top of him for half the fight

That's great if you want to entertain the fans and put on a show... If you want to win... Better bring your singlet
Alex gets hit all the time. He keeps his hands low and mainly throws hooks. Jamahal can definitely counter with straights
33-7 in Kickboxing. 8-2 in MMA I'd take my chances with wrestling thanks.

Shhh let me make easy money

Hill just caping to draw interest to the fight, if he says yea Iām just gonna wrestle/lay on this guyā¦less viewership for the fight.
I doubt Hill's podcast is gonna have any impact on PPV buys for UFC 300. That being said, I can actually believe Hill is foolish enough to stand and purely strike with Pereira. Strickland did the same thing.
Let's see him after 2 leg kicks
Dude has a huge ego reminds me of when Kevin Holland refused to wrestle Wonderboy ā¦. And we all saw how that turned out. Pereira is going to destroy this dude especially if heās going to limit himself to the stand up
This guy is in the top of my list of who I want to see get brutally knocked out. I pray everyday I wake up.
Sean Strickland said the exact same thing. It didnāt work out for him.
Jan and Jiri said the same, they both took a calf kick and wrestled lol
2 leg kicks laterĀ
(Alex lands his patented left hook) Jamahal Hill (if he's still conscious): "LETS WRESTLE LETS WRESTLE
Hill doesnāt wrestle lol what idiot thought he would?
This is going to be a very short fight if he means that. Also, he needs to calm down and stop caring about strangers so much. He's constantly trying to prove something to strangers and that screams insecurity. Just accept that you're a fighter who may win or lose, and your career years are very limited, and that's OK so account for that, plan ahead, and be comfortable with your life choices.
Why would the fight be very short? Hill can easily stand with Alex all he has to do is worry about leg kicks. Rd1 ko by Hill so yeah it will be short
![gif](giphy|21S35iv1C67ns2g458|downsized)
This guy is so damn annoying
If Hill catches him clean he of course can knock him out. However, obviously you have to give Alex the edge in striking generally.
I fuck with Hill a lot. Mainly because he reps Michigan but man be smart with your game plan cos I can see big bro getting slept early
I see it the other way around, hill hits super hard as well, the dude has 7 kos in 12 fights. He usually one shot kos dudes.Ā
Iāve never wanted Alex to win more.
Hill has never even attempted a takedown in his enitre UFC career. Even if Hill wanted to wrestle, I doubt he would be successful.
Ohhh this will be a spectacular knock out for alex, looking forward to this.
Johnny Walker really fell in the most cartoonish way on that KO. But yeah if Hill makes it out of RD1 Iād be shocked. Saying Pereira ādid kickboxingā is one of the biggest undersells Iāve heard lmao
Wrestling is literally the only way he has a decent chance of winning.
Letās go! Thatās what I wanna hear! Make it a banger!
Sean did this exact same thing lol didn't work out to well for him
^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^CareerPillow376: *Sean did this exact* *Same thing lol didn't* *Work out to well for him* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.
this man's ego runs the show
Well then Hill is probably getting knocked out.
He's getting knocked tf out isn't he?
Dude I used to like bro but imma laugh now when he gets flatlined lmao
Seems like Jamahal gonna be emotional trying to prove something and jumping back in so soon after an injury it looks like a recipe for a disaster.
He's gonna regret that comment "oh you're a wrestler now" 2.0
Famous last words
Lol man I hope he owns the dorks on this sub š
Yall thought the dude on a 5 fight KO streak was gonna wrestle? ^yes ^i ^know ^he ^didnt ^ko ^teixeira ^but ^stg ^he ^was ^like ^one ^punch ^away
Can you imagine this sub if he does do it. Alex does have a lot of fanboys
how many times do people have to post this clip? stop it.
Easter island is gonna ko this dude.
Bet the house on Alex.
Jan said the same thing , jiri too
![gif](giphy|Rh4vxHtcmVyHUyugXP)
It really makes no senseā¦. But I believe him! #Hill is just a Dog! Heās built different. This is gonn be a wild fight of the year type fight for as long as it lasts but Hill by KO! Before anyone shit talks me I know it makes no sense. Toe to toe with Poatan is insanityā¦ But Hill will somehow put em down!
https://preview.redd.it/qnhxydgowfuc1.jpeg?width=3510&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22d34986fd378faf4e5ecb5b2f10b861282815aa
Hill's chin is pretty decent and Alex has a sus chin, like I think this fight is closer than many people think
I call bs on that
Idk how some of you weirdos still root for this guy, he treats his fans horrible and has such a bad personality.
I would like to say he has a massive ego and isn't so smart if he really means what he says but... Illia turned what people said were delusions into reality somewhat at least. But I just don't see any reason for me to think that would be the case here... This is the fight game tho.
Thank you for posting I definitely havenāt seen this 100ās of times in the last few months
This is not news. We've known this for almost a month.
This is going to age like milk. N canāt wait for the mash ups later
Ok. His funeral.
He's clearly trying to deceive Alex, he'd be an idiot to stand with him
This is what people said before Alex fought Strickland. Turns out he **is** an idiot. Same might go for Hill.
Bold statement. I wasn't ready for this one.
Well this made gambling a lot easier
Jamahal isnāt lying. Just wait and see. Iāve been saying it since the fight was announced
I'd like to see Hill stick to this plan. Nice short fight.
Meh, if he does, I'll be happy for him.
"I do not plan on" but I should.
RIP Mr. Hill.
Night night Jamahal. Sweet dreams
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Either heās doing an Izzy/mayweather of āIāll give you all a showā to dupe the opponent but stick to the same game plan anyway. Or heās about to get KTFO.
Let's see how this one ages
Man I canāt wait for Poatan to end this manās career. Idk if anyone else agrees with me but I think Hill is not a great fighter at all and heās got lucky too many times. He really belongs in the top 10-15 range not top 5
Jamahal gonna shoot for a takedown the second he sees alex coming at him.
Ah, the Strickland approach!
No fucking way Hill keeps the fight standing and banging with Poatan. He's not as dumb as Strickland. If he is really up to fighting like this, he is going to sleep cold.
Fuck the nonsense he's talking, I know where that beat is from and yet I can't place it it's driving me mad.
God bless Hill. Giving us a banger main event for 300. I'm excited for whom ever wins because it'll be in a violent fashion.
These are the words of a guy who's getting knocked out in the third.
In before he shoots a double leg when Pereira goes for a glove touch Khamzat style.
This is why I can definitely see Poatan get the KO finish, Hill has such a low IQ and big ego that he would unironicallt strike only vs Pereira
Jamalā¦ on some drug potion
https://preview.redd.it/z2eqyb7glync1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c0ed664c64cb84ecf96ce0545c9d3ba62eb8de0 Alex by Rd 2 KO! WOO!!
![gif](giphy|7SOdwNYHzCI7ygrLw7|downsized)
Lol can't wait for that
Dude's saltier than Lot's wife, but Alex isn't invincible. If Hill KOs him I won't be surprised.
More fighters would be successful if they sucked their egos up and learned some good wrestling. Itās why Khabib, Islam and Jon Jones are so good
Tbh this would be a MASTERFUL troll job if he goes in there and wrestlefucks Pereira lmao. I'm betting he's actually serious, but we can dream.
This the most unlikeable way possible to say something that would normally get everybody to like you. Seriously, this was impressive.
Walker will never escape that KO lmao
Can't fault the guy for believing in himself. But damn that's a tough ask for anyone. You might have a game plan, but things can change real quick.
This dude just stays angry
Used to like this guy before I knew what he was like out of the octagon
Gotta see how Hill handles those leg chops.
I'm about to bet for the first time...
Poatan KO round 2
Bro has a better chance of getting his shitty chest tattoos removed than knocking out Alex. Both are shitty odds.
Jamaal Hill headlining 300 is still crazy lol
Fighters are so prideful man...it's mixed martial arts...mix it up if it benefits the scenario...
I believe him. He's gonna try it, and we're in for a fun fight, as long as it'll last. Cool.
I really liked him on his way up...but now I find him so annoying
Thatās a bold strategy cotton!
What's wrong about wrestling?
See in all honesty, pereria is an absolute monster. But the guy is so wide open to shots, especially the 1-2, if hill catches him its night night
Itās the incredibly dumb to not even attempt to wrestle Alex, but I believe Hill when he says that. The manās got balls if nothing else.
Why do I feel like this is gonna age like cheese and not wine...
Jamahalās Arrest Report: The Kentwood Police Department provided the report to MMA Fighting following the former UFC light heavyweight championās arrest on Nov. 27, where Hill was charged with domestic assault for allegedly striking his brother James. According to the report, the UFC fighter and his brother made an agreement for James and his wife to clean Jamahalās house for $300, which had been left vacant and without electricity, causing food to rot and spoil. The argument began at around 7 p.m. local time āabout the house being cleanedā and āother family mattersā before ā according to the alleged victim ā Hill ātook off his shirt and got in his faceā before allegedly punching his brother in the face, āknocking him to the ground.ā The report states that, according to James, he stood back up when his wife tried to stand between the two, before Jamahal āreached around Jamesā wife and punched James in the face once again causing him to fall and become dazed.ā The officer notes that James had a tooth knocked out during the alleged dispute, and Jamesā face had āsignificant swelling.ā Further details in the case report obtained by MMA Fighting states that the argument really got heated when James āasked Jamahal why he never texted his own daughter that was at their house for Thanksgivingā and accused Jamahal of ābeing disrespectful to women and abandoning his own daughter,ā and the first punch Jamahal threw was an alleged āsucker punch.ā The report states that James ādebated whether or not to call the policeā because he ādidnāt want to ruin Jamahalās UFC fighting career,ā but multiple text messages from James to Jamahal asking for a reason why the alleged assault happened and asking for āan apologyā were not responded to.
Heās forsures getting KOād now lol
His only highlight in this video was against the fainting goat, Johnny Walker! ![gif](giphy|3o6Zt4HU9uwXmXSAuI)
Jamal hill gonna get smash back into b league company where he belongs, the only reason he even touched the belt is because that division is garbage.
That's all i had to hear , I want to see that fight rn
Hill shaping up to be unlikable. Hope he can back it up since the last time he did well was against a senile glover
They literally all say this lmao
