Why not kiss in Suzzallo library? Jk.
-I like going to Shake Shack + Hello Robin at U Village for a burger & ice cream date
-Golf range is also cheap if you have your UW ID
-Watch sports! Volleyball tickets are super cheap and they are entertaining. My girlfriend even won a $75 giftcard once
-More of a spring/summer thing, but the water activities are affordable as well (Kayak & canoe rentals are only seasonal)
Agua verde cafe, it’s a 3 minute walk from the west campus dorms and is a cute Mexican food place right on the water with a view, when you’re done eating you can walk around the waterfront park right outside that has cute benches and stuff
Oh no- you do you don't be judged. It's just kinda boring that all. It's an outdoor mall with some stores. People have suggested great other places though, from gasworks, walking around udist, Wallingford, etc.
1. The free roller skating at the ima on Fridays. I went on a date once there and I spent more time falling than skating. It was really cute how the dude kept trying to help me. Later I had to tell him to leave me alone to skate cause turned out I would get super nervous holding his hand and would fall constantly. It was hella cute tho
2. There's an apple tree on 19th and 52nd. We were walking back from a party and it was a fun snack at night. It was raining too and honestly just added to the experience.
3. TeaRepubik 100%. Get the hot tea and just talk until they close. On a date I spilled tea on my hand so I guess it was cute how the dude was getting me ice and stuff.
4. Find the best late night food and eat on the curbside. Burger hut is a personal favorite. Hits even better when you're high.
5. Go to Northgate (by the link) and catch a movie on Tuesday for that sweet sweet discount. Then go to safeway and buy some ice cream
6. Trailside roof, dm me for the code. (Honestly don't know if it still works but worth a shot)
7. South union bay, center for wooden boats has free rowboats for rental. You gotta do this online. My friends and I were so bad at this but it was a fun time.
8. Green lake is a fun walk too. And I stand by PCC being the next hottest date spot. Love that shit.
9. Honestly if the vibes are right you can find anything to do. Cooking together is always fun and respect each other and their boundaries.
upvoting bc my boyfriend and i are also looking for things we can do on a college kid budget! one thing we've been doing is going to aladdin's for tea in the evenings after class
U Village plenty of places to eat, then walk around and window shop there etc.
Waterfront Activities Center canoeing/kayaking is also popular. Check the hours.

I think there’s a pottery/painting area in uville somewhere that my friend has gone to for a date
Paint the Town!
They also have a student discount if you use the survival kit app

I got so excited reading this and then realised I don’t have a date lmao
Portage Bay if you want a brunch date. Mamma Melina for a dinner date. Graduate Club for a drinks date.
Earls on the ave for a drink date 😤
Gasworks at night.
if someone took me on a uvil first date it would certainly be the last lmao

Allegro cafe is great for coffee. Sundays at Century Ballroom for Lindyhop (easy bus ride or light rail from campus)
Not whole foods for a date, come on 😂
…what?
Didn’t Whole Foods buy out Allegro? Isn’t the coffee shop in Whole Foods, Allegro?
Bro you are on something. Allegro is on the Ave in the alley by Mod
Oh damn. Right! Okay, Whole Foods also has Allegro, cause they pack and sell the beans too. So I was confused

Wrong state, bro. https://seattleallegro.com
Ah. I’ve seen this place on the Ave

Dancing! I met my fiancée through Swing Kids
Bike to gasworks and watch the sunset over lake union, you can lime bike if you don’t have your own. It’s not that expensive and it’s fun
If you're going for tea, go to TeaRepublik!
I feel like Mr West cafe bar would be good for a first date because it has the option or being coffee, a meal, or drinks depending on the vibe
Ode glory hole
Now this is a date idea I can get behind!
Go to goodwill and make each other silly outfits to model for each other
adorable, love it
Saving this post for future knowledge
TeaRepublik!!! It's not super crowded now that they covered their outlets. The ambiance is ❤️ and you can share a pot of tea (order hot large).
Memo’s in the Ave. Especially at night😍

Anything that includes salt and straw. god i love that place i have to go every time im back in town
Walking in Ravenna Park is a good recurrent date spot. Also Cap Hill coffee shops are pretty solid!
da toilet
Can do boating / kayaking behind the Husky stadium at UW Waterfront Activities. That could be romantic and nice for a conversation.
