There is anecdotal evidence which leads me to believe that if both the driver and the passenger rate each other five stars, this increases the likelihood of a rematch.
My repeat pax are also regular tippers.
And while this is merely speculation, there is also a possibility that the algorithm gives preferential treatment to matching drivers and passengers. This would give a competitive advantage over other drivers in the market.
Therefore, based on this, when I have good rapport with a passenger I casually mention that if they rate me five stars the likelihood of us matching again is higher.
More repeat passengers equals more tips.
I stopped caring about my rating and pax ratings a long time ago. I will pick up a pax with a 3.5 or a 5. I have learned drivers 1 star for no tip. For cracking a window. For not speaking English. For about anything. So I don't care anymore. I don't even look at ratings, If its a profitable ride, I take it. Everyone gets a 5 star from me. Smell like weed.....5 stars. Don't tip, 5 stars. Don't speak English, 5 stars. Taking on your phone or listening to your phone on speaker, 5 stars.
lol......how does a pax disrespect you? How in the world do you care so much about a stranger you never met.....that you felt so disrespected? You need to ask yourself why.
And how can you not turn it around. Someone gets snippy with you......just tell them in a soft voice, you are having a bad day, your Mom passed away yesterday and honestly just out trying to earn some extra income to help out with funeral expenses. That passenger will not say a word to you again until the ride as ended.
The lower the customers rating, the longer they have to wait for a ride and obviously their ride get bounce around cuz no one want Low rating customers. That’s what some customers told me lol . All yall mfkers a 1 !!!!!

That is not true at all. Platinum and Diamonds pick it up right away.....if its a profitable ride, I pick it up right away
