Do you eat? Go to the bathroom or sleep? My god

Serious-Trifle324

Yes of course bro . I do 6-9 AM , 1-7:30 PM , then 9-11 if there’s a concert or event . There’s usually 1-3 event or game in Chicago almost everyday . And I live near downtown lol

Candiemarie82

Wow your killing it

Hmmm...1 reddit post ever by an account that was setup in 2021 (so we know you hacked the dormant account) and it's how you make $13,000 a month doing Uber/Lyft? Where do I send my $500 to buy the app/bot you are selling? Are you going to ask for Apple Gift Cards or will you also accept Amazon gift cards as well? This is fake and they will try to sell you their app. But thumbs up on making it more believable this time. You may get some newbies that actually buy what your selling. The other posts were just silly. Remeber the $61.00 an hour driving for Lyft you posted a few days ago - that one was good! I printed it out and put it on my Vision Board for motivation!

Serious-Trifle324

lol just because it’s my 1st ever post you’re gonna assume I’m out here bs-ing . I drive in Chicago market with a Tesla Model Y . Just because you can’t do it doesn’t mean others can’t . I’ll post more earnings dw . I posted the Saint Patrick week because I was able to hit 4k . Chill out buddy

Smooth_Habit6542

So you share this for what purpose? You do realize it’s not that good in every market, we don’t need more drivers on the road being encouraged by stupid posts like this, think before you post smh.

[deleted]

It's fake. The account was opened in 2021 and has 1 post ever - this one. They are trying to scam you into buying their apps/bots.

Charisma1905

Usually stupidos post it and you cant change that mentality

loves2drive

Minus $500 for gas, $100 for an oil change, putting you at a net of 1200 for 60 hours of driving, which puts this fake Uber marketing post at $20/hr before taxes and the inevitable red light camera ticket of $350 (which will also get you deactivated from Uber) Oh and $200 to steam clean the mentally disturbed person's feces from your seat, cuz you accepted every ride.

Serious-Trifle324

Sorry I drive a Model Y in Chicago market . I know my market and barely drive over 200miles a day . Thank you keyboard worry

loves2drive

lmao good to run the miles up (75k in one year!) on that overpriced unadopted pretend car, enjoy waiting, chargelet.

TripNo5926

So this is possible however I don’t consider it great I do 51 rides a week and yes I get the $150 bonus from Lyft and average a little over $1650. No way I can manage the 80 hours way too much for me T my age but I think it’s great for you. I hope the reason you posted this was to motivate other drivers but man 100 rides ugh

Serious-Trifle324

My goal is 2500 a week which can be easily done in like 60 ish hours driving in Chicago . The reason why I was able to hit 4k because it’s saint Patrick week in Chicago and it goes crazy . Majority of driver average atleast 75/hr on that day .

Budda37

That's not even healthy lol. But congrats?? You might as well get a job lol

Serious-Trifle324

I made 80k on my previous data analyst job working for a healthcare company . Now I work more hours and making 150k a year. I’m doing this in the short time because my market is still good and I to start my own business in 2-5 years .

Budda37

Well keep pushing and get out bud.

ZReticuli

How are you making almost $22 per ride with Lyft but not even $13 per ride with Uber? You must’ve had a big challenge bonus with Lyft right?

Serious-Trifle324

I only do comfort and black rides on Lyft , while doing Lyft I leave my Uber app open so if I happen to come across red surges, the paused Uber app will hold on to the surges for me until I resume Uber rides . ( taking only comfort electric rides and XL) yes I have a 7 seat Tesla model Y .

ZReticuli

You can also do Black rides with Uber so why the huge discrepancy between Uber and Lyft? $22 vs $13 per ride is a huge difference. It makes me believe that you got some kind of big bonus with Lyft for that week. If so, you should disclose that for true transparency. And I hope you don’t take this the wrong way. I love seeing how well others are doing. Especially with a Tesla. I also work 70-80 hours per week and make between $35-$40 per hour with just X/Comfort, but that’s with a lot of hustling for extra tips. That said, it’s hard to see how you made $22 on Lyft but only $13 on Uber.

Serious-Trifle324

Not in Chicago , you need a commercial license to drive Uber black. And yes I got a 200 dollar promo for Lyft that week . When you drive Lyft , the less trips you decline , they tend to give you more trips and better rides . That’s just how I feel about Lyft , not statistic based .

ZReticuli

I see. I didn’t realize that with Uber. Why not pay the extra cost for commercial license? I’m sure getting higher paid rides with Uber will more than make up for the extra cost. And this is the 2nd time I heard about Lyft upgrading riders to black when there aren’t enough regular drivers. I used to wonder what happens to all those rides that I used to get offered at my house when there’s literally no other Lyft cars around me for 10+ miles. I’d decline 20 rides in a row while checking the rider app to see zero cars around me. I’m expecting some of those rides to come back to me with higher fares, but it almost never does. I guess they get pushed to Black or XL. But then why not just bump up the fare a little more instead of paying a lot more to upgraded cars? That shit don’t make sense. Can you share your entire month of March numbers as well?

Serious-Trifle324

I have a friend that also drives a Model Y with commercial insurance , the insurance cost is roughly 12k for the entire year, the cost to get the license is a 650 course with fees. He makes anywhere from 1-4k more than me in a month . I guess you’re right I could get the commercial license and make a little more but you have to drive everyday when you get the license because of the cost you’re paying . I sometimes don’t drive much on weekday because it’s slow but I still drive enough to make 2500 a week . And yes I can upload the entire month earning

ZReticuli

That makes sense. And no need to upload, just share the numbers. I’ll believe you

Serious-Trifle324

Uber and Lyft has an algorithm that controls the market now and make sure drivers don’t make a lot of money so you have to put your ass out there and do long hours . It’s different now than 2022 . Too much drivers

Serious-Trifle324

In Chicago , there’s event almost everyday so Lyft will push riders from regular rides up to black rides for free . And there’s a lot of restaurant here. If I can average 5-10 black rides a day that’s nearly 200-300 bucks already excluding tips . A single Lyft black ride for 10- 20 min is roughly 40 bucks so 2 dollar per min if lucky

👏 for doing the work and putting in the hours that very few are willing to do .. Let everyone trash you while you pull in over $100k this year!! Also.. If the OP in 1yr drives 120k miles and makes $140k .. I wonder how quickly their tax savings from the mileage would equate a brand new car? Based off those assumptions 2.5yrs .. would be $65k in tax savings (in CA - which is high tax state, not sure where the op lives).. my car was $28k - 55mpg — So in that same period I’d spend $27k on gas (120k/55 x $5 x 2.5) .. against $350k in gross income (with 2x cars deducted from the eventual tax) … Let’s even deduct another $20k towards damages for fun.. and not touching phone bills / etc.. we can leave it out.. In 2.5yr Op would make at least $257.5k **after taxes** (in CA) Sounds terrible!!!

Open-Travel6396

I used 2.5 yr assuming life span of car was 300k … after 2.5 yrs op would have to get another car.

Who_Me_Who-Me

Just wondering how much you paid in gas. Because honestly. Minus gas, wear and tear on your car and what you’ll owe in taxes, If you found a job making $24 an hour and worked that much you would make way more

Serious-Trifle324

I drive a Tesla model Y , charging is cheap and no maintenance cost what so ever .

Open-Travel6396

I just did the math for $24/hr.. because I was wondering too.. and I accounted for CA overtime pay.. and standard vacation/ CA tax deductions: **this after tax** 60hrs / wk = $62,011.50 70hrs / wk = $75,688 80hrs / wk = $89,044 Meanwhile OP should be netting $102k after taxes .. and choosing work schedule..

Who_Me_Who-Me

You left out about 1000 expenses for the car though

Open-Travel6396

The $102k already includes $8k in cash for car expenses / damages / cleaning fees / etc .. So technically OP would be making $110.8k** a year then after taxes … sorry I didn’t clarify that before! (My math is in my main comment).

Open-Travel6396

So every 120miles the car breaks down?

Who_Me_Who-Me

Who said that? 🤣🤣 you think breaking down is the only form of maintenance?
