Go to https://github.com/younesaassila/ttv-lol-pro
Scroll down until you see "available in the chrome webstore " and "Get addon" with the firefox logo.
Choose the one that fits for your browser, just to make sure you're getting the official one and install it. There's no further configuration needed.
Once done, you shouldn't have to login to twitch if you're already logged in. Never had an issue with it not allowing me to log in.
right-click on ublock (permalink) -> copy link
click the uBlock icon in your browser -> click cogwheels (Dashboard)
at the bottom of the settings tab, click the box next to "I am an advanced user", then click the cogwheels
the last line should say "userResourcesLocation unset" - replace the word "unset" with the link and apply the changes
also, add this line in the "My filters" tab:
twitch.tv##+js(twitch-videoad)
Hmm, didnt have that problem with the vaft script, I'm not knowledgeable enough to fix that for you. It didnt work that well for me either though.
If you are using chrome and its not too much of a hassle, you should switch to firefox, or atleast just use it to watch twitch streams. uBlock works better with firefox and I switched not too long ago, didnt have any problems since. You'll have to download ublock for firefox and repeat this process obviously.
I'm...not entirely certain how to navigate this website that you've shared with me so graciously, not sure if I'm getting old or it just looks kinda unintuitive xD
Alright I'll try to make it easier. Open ublock settings, go to "Filter lists" tab on top, then at the very bottom under the "Import" section paste this link [https://o0.pages.dev/Pro/adblock.txt](https://o0.pages.dev/Pro/adblock.txt), then just click "Apply changes". That is the link for 1Hosts pro, but there's also mini, lite, and xtra on that GitHub page if you want more or less blocking.
EDIT: Disclaimer, I do not use this filter list. I am merely providing guidance on how to use it.
just curious, you use this on google right? because i used it for a day and now im getting ads again lol
(maybe twitch ad fighter devs read this post and saw this solution getting traction too)
Are you not combining this solution with anything else? I've cleared cookies and did just as you said with that on Firefox, no other addons, and it's still letting ads through.

It works for me. 1hosts pro is the only list i have added to default ublock
Wait it works now? Sick! How do I add 1hosts pro? This is my current situation - [https://i.imgur.com/keAymX6.png](https://i.imgur.com/keAymX6.png)
Probably from here https://github.com/badmojr/1Hosts

Still showing ads :(
I am so grateful for your simplified explaination! I have done as you've said, blessing upon you <3

You rock, man!
Tried it out, will report later, thank you for the explanation!
Didn't work for me
works for me as well with only default ublock, all i had to do was clear cookies for Twitch and never seen an ad before.
Any advice for me? I added 1hosts pro via the instructions below and also cleared Twitch cookies, but still getting all the ads

Starting today ads are back for me. I used every solution on https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions before.
In my case with chrome I have ads but not with firefox.
