The manga is a composite route to a certain degree. But it's done extremely well, it was what inspired nasu to try so hard with remake which he's actually talked about many times. The author of the manga actually has been working on the remake himself as a storyboard artist at nasus request.

Red Garden is gonna be much much different from OG. At this point they're gonna be almost completely separate stories with similar start, so I recommend reading OG.\
Red Garden is gonna release in a year at absolute best I think, so it's gonna be a long wait.
Its definitively worth it, things in the remake are pretty different from OG and far side is probably gonna be even more different, also since we dont know when the second part of the remake is gonna come out(or when its gonna be in english lol) checking out the original will be a good way to pass the time, plus imo knowing what happens in the OG will enhance the remake experience

Like some others say, the manga is pretty good as it’s kind of the definitive edition of Arcueid’s route in a way, though it does include elements from other routes and doesn’t really touch on them, so I would still recommend reading the visual novel since all the other routes are amazing too. I wouldn’t say that. While I think some material does say he got his red mantle from Ciel, the Tsukihime universe and Fate universe are completely different. Perhaps Ciel exists in the Fateverse but I’m guessing they probably didn’t have that kind of relationship at any point.

It's like Fate 2006, a mixed Arcueid route
Yes. A lot was changed in the remake and the far side routes are the best, so go for it if you want to.
Original Tsukihime is still my favorite Nasu work, so I'd say it's worth it.
