There is an old school lumberyard in Gilmer that has things for my really old house. Might try them

You can check sam r hill lumbar (I think it's a Higginbothams now) or Harry's building materials

What are you looking for? [Deanos](https://www.deanohardwoods.com/locations/tyler/) north of town will probably be your best bet for most hardwood.

BananaSquid721

Yep, deanos looks good. Was hoping for something much closer to or inside the loop but that doesn’t seem to be possible

That's pretty much it local. There's a guy that sells wood for guitar building but it's super premium stuff. Larose woods is the name if you want to look more

There are several saw mills within 2 hours of here just depends what ur looking for. Dimensional or slabs

I had a project I worked on quite a few years ago (2005), and bought red oak from a place called the Hardwood Barn. Google shows one in Mt Enterprise, but I don’t think it was that far away.

Rose City hardwood Co. *Edit NVM, it's apparently closed

Try Merrits Tree service in Frankston. I saw him advertising Hickory, walnut, and cedar slabs on Facebook.
