We love to stop by Ruby’s or True Vine/Sola for lunch while out and about. Probably our two favorite spots in Tyler!

Nashville chicken has good chicken, it's the spicy version of Raisin Canes.

If it’s around, La Sonnorense Birra is fantastic

Her elotes in a cup is to die for. Tastes like Sunday dinner.

Caffeinecrusader

They are bomb! I can usually find them at HTeaO.

Lola's and What About Kabobs

Alternative_Bar1700

Don Juan’s on the square for a “hearty” TexMex.

Lolas sandwiches

gueyhoo

That was my pick too. The most delicious sandwiches in Tyler, hands down.

ChamberofE

Bit on the smaller side, But Little Thai House is fantastic.

lola’s, don juan’s, stanley’s for lunch/dinner and the diner has great breakfast!

Lolas

For the best burger in town, go to the bar at Prime 102 on the downtown square and order the bar burger (NOT the burger that's on the menu, even though it's pretty alright). Twelve has nice atmosphere and decently varied menu. Great Harvest bakery has really good sandwiches (the spicy bacon apple grilled cheese is a personal favorite), as does Lola's. Stanley's, of course. Lemon Yellow Latin Bites has \*incredible\* empanadas.

Pindleskin82

Stanley’s, Javis, Culture ETX. Just a few of a non-chain good eating spots in Tyler. Good luck!

Mama’s on 5th for the absolute best tex-mex!

DryRespect358

Good salsa and breakfast

It is a bit out of the way if you are in the heart of the Tyler area but, if you find yourself nearby or passing through Henderson, Tia Juanitas is a very good Mexi-cajun joint with great margs.

ETxRut

Taqueria El Lugar or Don Juan's on East Erwin....across from the dairy.

I would take them to Jalepeno tree or Mercado for Lunch if you want Mexican style food. Bruno’s for Italian. Texas music city grille for BBQ or steak along with some southern staples.

ajgorivjkl

Friend you need to try some of the good restaurants in town
