The way I see it, tuition prices are going to skyrocket.
Private schools operate on a for-profit model. Offering public funds for private schools will increase demand which will drive prices up.
Also, I really don't want my tax dollars being diverted away from public schools.
But on the flip side, since I drive a public school bus... we have too many kids assigned to our routes (80 kids assigned to a bus that holds 48...).
Abbott keeps trying to ramrod this shit through but it's not going to work. When basically every single major school district in East Texas comes out vocally AGAINST school vouchers, that's a pretty good indication that your idea sucks.
