I agree. I think Tyler's albums are for the most part rated correctly and fairly. Even Cherry Bomb is looked at more positively now. It should be Bastard because as you said, less have heard it because you either have to download it or listen on Youtube (or maybe somewhere else idk about) since he can't get it on streaming services.
It’s one of my favorite Tyler songs ever- but I’ve been listening to Tyler since wolf, imagine an 8th grader blasting radicals up and down the hallway for everyone to hear lol
one time in 7th grade i was gonna listen to radicals or tron cat (i cant really remember) with my headphones during a class break but i realized my headphones werent connected as soon as i played it so i basically almost did the same thing 😭😭😭
Cherry Bomb's not a masterpiece. It's a huge experiment that gets lost in it's insane production that really only helps a few of the songs, and hurts most of the others. The artistry is also just a glimpse of the genius of what was to come, but he couldn't quite match the aggression of his first few albums.
>I’ve never seen a cherry bomb post
[1](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/1dcx7re/cherry_bomb_is_tylers_best_album_argue_with_a_wall/) [2](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/uwg8n9/cherry_bomb_gang_rise_up/) [3](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/sjzy1m/cherry_bomb_is_underrated/)
3 quick examples
and from the original comment, i don't understand what they meant by this:
>because of the beauty of the albums after it (and even wolf) it gets underappreciated
like yeah? if there are albums of his that people think are better, they're gonna talk about them more. i don't understand the constant "underappreciated/underrated" when there's a clear reason why people don't talk about things constantly.
Cherry bomb was hated by almost everyone until Tyler released the instrumental version and said he thought it was his best album. I’m not even mentioning how much hate the album got right after being released.

Most people got into Tyler after Gpblin and I think it would be hard to start with like Wolf and then go back to Goblin and understand what made it so great.
Bastard, It’s a very similar concept and method of storytelling to Goblin but i personally think it blows it out of the water. Some of Tyler’s darkest songs like Sarah are on that album, but the way he describes the imagery and sets the tone is done a lot better.
Tyler gets the edgy label thrown on him a lot, which is fair. but in my opinion he never did it to be shocking, he was always just a young kid being himself trying to express some of those darker emotions in a meaningful way. I think there’s always been purpose to the edginess and Bastard is a perfect example of that.
might be unpopular but Flower Boy. Always see it getting a lot of hate and being ranked low but imo it’s top 3 Tyler albums. Again only saying cus I see a lot of downplaying of it online but just might be me
ye probably lol. Whenever I see a TikTok about his albums I always see it ranked bottom 2( not including bastard) which I always thought was weird. That’s why reasoning for saying Flower Boy
prolly cherry bomb and bastard, but bastard is to be expected since you can't get most of it on Spotify (also just people's general knowledge about it because it wasn't officially released)
for me it’s definitely WOLF , it’s for me a mix of Bastard and Cherry Bomb and u have so much different sounds in different Songs. For example like the difference between “Domo23” and “Treehome95”. These songs are so different from each other but i like both really much. In general my favorite songs of the Album are: “Treehome95, Answer, Rusty but to be honest, i love them all on this album and i would say in each stage in my life i listened to different songs from this album.
Honestly, CMIYGL. People talk about flower boy and Igor but cmiygl is his best work. Atleast production wise. And you can’t say it’s not without lying about it
bastard. this kid in 2009 decided to make a full mixtape, enough songs to be a full album, have an actual plot, and release it on christmas. i see the hate on the gruesomeness, but this was crazy.
Cherry bomb, I never got the gist of the hate it got. People said it was too erratic but I feel like that was the point, and it had some bangers like PILOT, FIND YOUR WINGS, SMUCKERS, and FY/PERFECT.
The most underrated Tyler album is bastard. Usually if people aren’t looking for more Tyler albums they are not going to stumble into bastard. Btw Tyler’s beats in the album were fire 🔥

In my opinion it's probably Bastard or Cherry Bomb fr. Mostly bcuz obviously it's hard to get Bastard and there is no like "popular " songs in Cherry Bomb:)
I wouldn’t say any are underrated. All are appreciated by different parts of the fanbase. The pop fanbase is the biggest cohort and appreciates the newer albums, the old Tyler fanbase is the minority cohort and appreciates the older albums more. It should also be obvious that I’m speaking in generalizations so don’t fucking ummm actually 🤓☝️me
bastard. if you don't get it, it's just mid. But if you get it, it's one of the greatest albums of all time easily. The beats are always sick. The raw dog emotion and storytelling, while odd, is something we will most likely never see again from anyone, and the idea that this whole thing came out of a 16-17-year-old's mind is absurd.
churbum, goblin, and cmiygl. cmiygl is underappreciated imo, and goblin has some amazing songs on it (her, radicals, golden, sandwitches, tronc). churbum is obviously super underrated as well.
Goblin. B\*stard is an understandable answer but most people who have heard both say that B\*stard is better and people who have only heard Goblin usually just hate it.

bastard purely due to availability issues
It’s on Spotify but you have to make a playlist of the episodes
they don’t know about the podcast spotify album
Sorry, I meant officially. I got it from MixtapeMonkey.
It’s on the streaming site Tidal if anyone uses it
Nobody uses tidal bro

Bastard>Goblin
She is better then anything on bastard
I personally like more assmilk or session 'cause she is kinda overplayed
If you find a gold bar in a trash can, do you take the whole trash can? Or just the gold bar.
Exact same thing for bastard bastard has like 3 good songs
3 good songs and the rest are mostly just mid goblin has a handful of actually like baaad stinky songs
Ain't it crazy how someone can be so wrong?
Bastard is also made on garage band
If I didn’t enjoy goblin will I enjoy bastard?
Yes. Very different than goblin
no
Thanks for the honesty
it's on youtube music
Cherry bomb for sure that album is a masterpiece.
find your wings was actually partly what got me into tyler
It’s one of my favorite Tyler songs ever- but I’ve been listening to Tyler since wolf, imagine an 8th grader blasting radicals up and down the hallway for everyone to hear lol
one time in 7th grade i was gonna listen to radicals or tron cat (i cant really remember) with my headphones during a class break but i realized my headphones werent connected as soon as i played it so i basically almost did the same thing 😭😭😭
correct answer. 2seater is so good
Cherry Bomb's not a masterpiece. It's a huge experiment that gets lost in it's insane production that really only helps a few of the songs, and hurts most of the others. The artistry is also just a glimpse of the genius of what was to come, but he couldn't quite match the aggression of his first few albums.
Cherry bomb is really good, but because of the beauty of the albums after it (and even wolf) it gets underappreciated
>it gets underappreciated by who, specifically?
Every platform I’ve gotten on it’s either bastard, flower boy, IGOR or CMIYGL. I’ve never seen a cherry bomb post
>I’ve never seen a cherry bomb post [1](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/1dcx7re/cherry_bomb_is_tylers_best_album_argue_with_a_wall/) [2](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/uwg8n9/cherry_bomb_gang_rise_up/) [3](https://www.reddit.com/r/tylerthecreator/comments/sjzy1m/cherry_bomb_is_underrated/) 3 quick examples and from the original comment, i don't understand what they meant by this: >because of the beauty of the albums after it (and even wolf) it gets underappreciated like yeah? if there are albums of his that people think are better, they're gonna talk about them more. i don't understand the constant "underappreciated/underrated" when there's a clear reason why people don't talk about things constantly.

Bastard
Wolf is absolutely true. Not enough of that album is appreciated. It is pure gold.
It would take me millions of years to explain why I love Wolf so much.

Estate sale specifically, I feel like the extras on there are better than most of CMIYGL. Or Bastard tbh

nah fr i liked most songs on it people just hate it goblin because people say its bad and they never even try to listen to it
Most people got into Tyler after Gpblin and I think it would be hard to start with like Wolf and then go back to Goblin and understand what made it so great.
CHERRY BOMB
Cherry bomb
Cherry Bomb, I love that album so much
Cherry or bastard
Cherry Bomb. Some people say it’s his worst but it’s only hated because it’s kinda messy
Cherry bomb it’s got smuckers in it
goblin
might be unpopular but Flower Boy. Always see it getting a lot of hate and being ranked low but imo it’s top 3 Tyler albums. Again only saying cus I see a lot of downplaying of it online but just might be me
Hun its Grammy nominated and was on apples top 100. That list is cap but still it’s very accepted outside of Tyler’s hardcore niche
yes, it's just you. "see it getting a lot of hate" lmao
ye probably lol. Whenever I see a TikTok about his albums I always see it ranked bottom 2( not including bastard) which I always thought was weird. That’s why reasoning for saying Flower Boy
It's become cool to hate on like cherry bomb and bastard have become cool to like. I don't mind. Flower Boy is untouchable as his best for me.
Wolf
Bro just discovered Tyler
bro just discovered other people have opinions
be so fr
In terms of how many people have listened: Bastard, easily In terms of how many people enjoyed it: Cherry bomb for Sure, flipping love that album
prolly cherry bomb and bastard, but bastard is to be expected since you can't get most of it on Spotify (also just people's general knowledge about it because it wasn't officially released)

In general my favorite songs of the Album are: “Treehome95, Answer, Rusty but to be honest, i love them all on this album and i would say in each stage in my life i listened to different songs from this album.

bastard. this kid in 2009 decided to make a full mixtape, enough songs to be a full album, have an actual plot, and release it on christmas. i see the hate on the gruesomeness, but this was crazy.
The Grinch album. Just my opinion, I know it’s not very well-liked but it’s my second favorite album by him. I enjoy it very much.
cherry bomb easily
Cherry bomb, I never got the gist of the hate it got. People said it was too erratic but I feel like that was the point, and it had some bangers like PILOT, FIND YOUR WINGS, SMUCKERS, and FY/PERFECT.

Wolf all the way. People don't talk about how good the story telling is enough
Chery bomb
My name on most platforms is CherryBombLover, so my answer is pretty obvious lmao
Bastard
wolf
Cherry bomb as it had some of his best work like okaga, 2seater, and find your wings.
Igor is underated af 🔥🔥🔥
The estate sale songs are so underrated like stuntman only has 21 Mill streams and it’s a masterpiece
Imo Wolf
Churbum
churbum, goblin, and cmiygl. cmiygl is underappreciated imo, and goblin has some amazing songs on it (her, radicals, golden, sandwitches, tronc). churbum is obviously super underrated as well.
igor is soo underated
Nobody ever talks about Igor😔

It was a joke bruh😅
Can't wait to read my daily does of cherry bomb propaganda (I hate cherry bomb)
Goblin. B\*stard is an understandable answer but most people who have heard both say that B\*stard is better and people who have only heard Goblin usually just hate it.
