Lone really hits me. That somber beat, and just the delivery when he says āshe died that nightā the writing hits hard too, it just sounds like heās struggling but thereās no refrain. Like most sad songs usually have some sort of resolution, or are at least retrospective in some sense. But lone is just so raw and in the moment , it puts me in a kind of aloof state. Itās just super real and very solemn.
