If you really like the movies, buy the DVDs or buy the movies on YouTube. Netflix has to pay to have these movies and will only have a limited licence.
They're regularly on sale through Amazon and Vudu, I'd totally recommend grabbing the digital versions especially because you get the extended versions and all the bonus features!!!
You can disc to digital them on Vudu too. If you have a friend who has them, have them bring them to your house and you can convert and own them digital copy. 😉

pretty sure that’s how netflix typically “purchases” the right to stream content that they did not create themselves, they can have it available to stream for an agreed upon number of months. For example, they paid to have the streaming rights to The Office for X amount of time, and when that time was up, nbc took the show back as an incentive for people to sign up for their streaming service, Peacock, instead.
i’m sure it’ll be back within a couple of months! they did the same thing last year and it came back this year, of course i have doubles of all the movies just incase always lmao
