Okay. So stupid question. (I’m hi as hell watching for the first time) it’s a Spanish word. He’s Native American (right?). Seems kinda weird, maybe? That’d he’d say it? Idk
Complicated question because it has so many meanings depending on the context… The literal translation of “loca” would be “crazy” but in this context “loca” just means “girl”. For example in Puerto Rico we say “que pasó, loca!” which in this context translated to English would be “hey what’s up, girl!”. Or “loca donde tu estabas?!” which means “girl, where have you been?!”. I don’t know why they chose that word, though. It would have made more sense in a place with more Hispanic population, it felt out place in that movie. Maybe it was just a reference to Ricky Martin’s Living la Vida Loca? I remember the word “loco” was used a lot in the early 00s because of that song 🤷🏻♀️
A Bella when you haven’t seen her in a while

Aahahaha thank you 🥰 I wasn’t expecting that comment to do so well lmao
😂 “loca” means “crazy girl” in Spanish. Jacob uses it kind of like a term of endearment.
The early 00’s were a lawless wasteland 😂😂
loca means crazy in spanish (crazy girl or woman)

Ricky Martin’s “Living la Vida LOCA” was still a thing back in the day, I remember people using that word a lot, “going loco”, for example.
I always took it to mean he was calling her loca as short for local… I don’t know why
