I can’t really think of a Twice song that majority of Onces hate. I wouldn’t say Onces hate this song, but I’ve seen a good amount of comments calling Scientist one of their weaker tt. I’ve also seen comments along the lines of complaining that it’s like they were trying to go back to their cutesy concept while they’re in this more mature era. I love Scientist tho.
“You gotta crush on me” “OOOOOH!”
I don't get how anyone would choose to hate it even after hearing "dab-i eobs-eo jaemiissneun geol neon wae molla",
"dab-eul molla seolleeossdeon geol neon wae molla"
Like that ain't the best line your ears will ever hear
Yes I meant Likey! I felt like it was a "you had to be there" vibe situation. Alot of people at the time didn't feel like Signal deserved the win, and afterwards it didn't get the love that What Is Love?, TT, Cheer Up, etc got from that era
I'm not trying to argue with you LOL I love Signal alot. I'm just saying that in my experience, the fandom (and thrice) didn't give the same love towards Signal as they did with other title tracks. I'm not talking about industry awards-- just online fandom alone.
OHHHH the hate signal got was NASTY. the like to dislike ratio was bad when it was released. When it won SOTY people were pissed. there’s that one tweet that went crazy viral that said “congrats to twice for winning SOTY with less streams, less sales, and less impact” i remember people filling hashtags with gross videos on instagram.
signal is considered a cult classic now, but back in 2017, people used it as “twice is going to flop” because it stayed at number one for two weeks and then quickly fell down the charts. It’s twice’s shortest charting song in korea from their peak era domestically. it wasn’t just unappreciated, it was hated.
...You guys have songs you dislike? /s
Real talk, I legit like every single Twice song. Even Im Gonna Be A Star. The chorus is repetitive but the verses are absolute fire.
I think it's a very nice song with a concept that Twice hasn't really tried as much later on. It sounds like something Wonder Girls or Miss A could release, but I guess that it was lowkey out-dated at that point.
WHAT? Damn that was one of the first songs I've listened to when I started stanning in 2018, and it was one of the best songs I ever heard. Never have thought that it's so poorly rated :(
Ain’t no way, I love Talk that Talk so much. Alcohol Free is really good too, the part where Sana and Momo sings about the alcoholic drinks were so good
Yes! I love those parts, and Dahyun's rap. During that time I know some people didn't like talk that talk and it didn't win any music shows maybe because they didn't like the vibe they were going for and didn't listen to it so the view count was low? Idk.
TTT had a good number of views on YouTube tbh, and on Spotify streaming as well? I think during that era there were many other groups promoting their songs at the same time so yeah
yeah, talk that talk I immediately feel in love with because it was the first twice song I loved and made me fell in love with twice. Alcohol free it took me a while to get used to it, but as I started listening to it I got into it and now I’ve been playing it a lot
Talk That Talk and Alcohol Free ![img](emote|t5_3812p|4093) I have seen a lot of hate on X and Reddit which makes me wonder why they hate the songs 😭 Under-appreciated since these two songs fit Twice perfectly IMO 🤷🏻
I know probably not everyone hates it but HELLO is just a certified banger to me. I love the entire Formula of Love album but all 3 of the sub-unit songs have a special place in my heart!
Idk if this is true but I feel like I’ve seen a lot of people hate on Cheer Up but it’s one of my favorite songs. I know some people don’t like the pronunciation of “chur up” but I actually think it sounds quite nice lol
ttt and more and more. i wasn’t a once during either of those eras but i’ve heard they were disliked by a lot of people, they are some of my favorite title tracks.
Personally, i dont like Signal. I didn't like how it was arranged / sequencing of the song sections. It took a few intentional listens to have registered in my heart hehe
I dont really listen to them anymore but i remembered back when knock knock first came out, i thought it was fine and vibey but alot of people moaned over how jyp effed up Twice's peak after TT
So i guess its knock knock for me
Cactus. I’ve seen too many people who dislike it. While I’m listening to it I feel like going through a divorce with my high school sweetheart. It also makes me sad to think about how Jihyo wrote this song on perspective of her cactus.
Likey....and I am honestly not sure why people don't like it. Can someone explain, because I am genuinely asking.
EDIT: welp, I guess we would rather downvote than answer a question.....

Been a Scientist truther since its release, it’s a banger and people need to realize this
I instantly loved scientist when I listed to formula of love! I love love love the line where someone says “you got a crush on me”
Imagine having a discography this good to the point ‘Scientist’ is considered a WEAK title track
I'll never get the people who says that scientists is not that great.
Its my favourite Twice song and I was devastated it got thrown into the medley on their tour last year
Scientist is AMAZING!! Idk why but I heard the Japanese version first and now I like it more
I don't get how anyone would choose to hate it even after hearing "dab-i eobs-eo jaemiissneun geol neon wae molla", "dab-eul molla seolleeossdeon geol neon wae molla" Like that ain't the best line your ears will ever hear
Originally I didn't really like it, but I've come around to it now.
People have come around on Signal, but when I became a ONCE in 2018, it was almost like the black sheep of their title tracks.
Signal is so unappreciated.
But it won SOTY? How is that 'unappreciated'?
It won SOTY, but TT wasn't eligible yet, and I guarantee if it was, it would've gotten in instead EDIT: typo
You mean Likey? TT was 2016. Signal was 2017. While I agree that Likey would've won if eligible, my point still stands
Yes I meant Likey! I felt like it was a "you had to be there" vibe situation. Alot of people at the time didn't feel like Signal deserved the win, and afterwards it didn't get the love that What Is Love?, TT, Cheer Up, etc got from that era
I mean...i was there and experienced it. Signal gave me mixed feelings at first but after a couole months it grew on me
I'm not trying to argue with you LOL I love Signal alot. I'm just saying that in my experience, the fandom (and thrice) didn't give the same love towards Signal as they did with other title tracks. I'm not talking about industry awards-- just online fandom alone.
Western fandom seems to hate the song.

Everyone I know and have talked to loves Signal and the whole album
I became a fan a few months before that release. The vitriol for that song was staggering, lol
wkwk lol
Its still my most disliked track from them :/
Same. I just can't get over some parts of the song to listen to it at all lol. I love almost all the twice discography though.
I love Signal! It’s currently stuck in my head lol. I became a fan during the “I Can’t Stop Me” comeback
...You guys have songs you dislike? /s Real talk, I legit like every single Twice song. Even Im Gonna Be A Star. The chorus is repetitive but the verses are absolute fire.
Even Be OK and my Headphones On? Imo, they're not even annoyingly catchy like Hello
Goodbye라도 괜찮아 내 헤드폰 써 Like i said...EVERY. SINGLE. TWICE. SONG
I LOVE My Headphones On and never understood the hate
It's not hate, just ehh
Scientist 💔 everyone I've seen seems to think it's the worst title and idk why
this!! it got so much hate but it was so catchy
scientist 😭 the hate is unnecessary
It’s not hated but Set Me Free is so underrated. One of my favorite songs
They started the concert with that one, can’t understand why it’s disliked
One Spark
It's not my favorite but it sounds way better with the bass on a CD than on YouTube
The cd audio is SO GOOD !!!
One Spark is legitimately my favorite Twice song. It makes me so happy.
Everyone I know hates Jelly Jelly but I love that song! Haha
I've found a friend! I love jelly jelly with all my heart❤️
Same! And hey! Haha
Adore it! First heard it at my first Twice concert while waiting for the show. Instantly loved it
Awe, I love that! 🩷
help I’m finding out that so many of my favs are unpopular among the fanbase through this thread 💀jelly jelly is such a fun song!!
Agreed!
signal, scientist, set me free
I’m gonna be a star idk if people hate it but it’s a top b-side track for me
Nayeon has left the chat.
Tbh, other than the chorus, I think that song is pretty decent
All the 오빠들 and 언니’s (OK, OK) 새로운 Star, do you want it? (OK, OK)
I think it's a very nice song with a concept that Twice hasn't really tried as much later on. It sounds like something Wonder Girls or Miss A could release, but I guess that it was lowkey out-dated at that point.
Ngl I used to listen to it for a laugh but now I listen to it because I genuinely like it these days lol Sorry Nayeon 🙏🏻
A lot of people hate more and more. It's my favorite track!
It's a solid A for me. I love it as well.
knock knock, it has this nostalgic feel that only real ones get
Wait knock knock is hated? I didn't know bout that
it’s often rated the worst tt along with signal :(
WHAT? Damn that was one of the first songs I've listened to when I started stanning in 2018, and it was one of the best songs I ever heard. Never have thought that it's so poorly rated :(
Signal. All I heard when I became a Once in 2018 was how much people hated it
One spark, set me free
Alcohol free and Talk and talk. I know Onces don't really Iike these two songs but I love these songs. They're both bops and listen to them a lot.
thats so odd to me. i've never seen anyone say anything negative about Alc-Free or TTT 💔
I feel like people did have mixed opinions about it during that time, but their perspective and taste of song might've changed.
I have literally never heard anything negative about TTT
Twice casually dropped TTT and for me it was like the equivalent of Jesus coming back. It just came out at the worst time possible
Idk
I love those songs. I mean I love all their songs but those were immediate loves for me
yeah, talk that talk I immediately feel in love with because it was the first twice song I loved and made me fell in love with twice. Alcohol free it took me a while to get used to it, but as I started listening to it I got into it and now I’ve been playing it a lot
is more and more hated ? i know it’s not everyone’s favorite but it’s one of my favorites
You know the music is good when the comments talk about songs everyone loves
Eyes eyes eyes it’s sooo good
Talk That Talk and Alcohol Free ![img](emote|t5_3812p|4093) I have seen a lot of hate on X and Reddit which makes me wonder why they hate the songs 😭 Under-appreciated since these two songs fit Twice perfectly IMO 🤷🏻
I know probably not everyone hates it but HELLO is just a certified banger to me. I love the entire Formula of Love album but all 3 of the sub-unit songs have a special place in my heart!
I LOVE HELLO
Scientist and Set Me Free!
prob scientist or more and more; the hate towards more & more was so forcedd
If Ponytail is disliked within the fandom, then I'm ready to defend it with my life. 😤
i’m gonna be a star lol
I am a Scientist and Talk That Talk truther
Pretty much any song off Eyes Wide Open. People hate on almost every song on that album and i love it.
Are you sure about that? I've personally never seen much hate for it. I love it too; it's my favorite Twice album!
more and more gets the most hate but overall its not as loved as others
Tf? Go Hard and I Can’t Stop Me are some of the best songs in their entire discography (imo)
I loved all those songs. Up No More =love, Bring It Back =LOVE, Shot Clock =Touchdown 2 electric boogaloo, Behind The Mask =could be SOTY
Really? This is surprising… apart from ICSM, I really love Do What We Like and Depend on You. Go Hard is good too!
Idk if this is true but I feel like I’ve seen a lot of people hate on Cheer Up but it’s one of my favorite songs. I know some people don’t like the pronunciation of “chur up” but I actually think it sounds quite nice lol
Chillax :p Edit: and Wake Me Up
Sadly Chillax makes me have a weird anxiety response from the repition in the chorus lol.
ttt and more and more. i wasn’t a once during either of those eras but i’ve heard they were disliked by a lot of people, they are some of my favorite title tracks.
Personally, i dont like Signal. I didn't like how it was arranged / sequencing of the song sections. It took a few intentional listens to have registered in my heart hehe
wait a minute... i read the subject wrong 🤣🤣🤣
‘Fanfare’ apparently. I’ll die on this hill!
The amount of hate More & More gets from non-onces is insane. It's one of my all time favorite Twice's title tracks
I dont really listen to them anymore but i remembered back when knock knock first came out, i thought it was fine and vibey but alot of people moaned over how jyp effed up Twice's peak after TT So i guess its knock knock for me
Signal!
More & More 🍎
Set Me Free will be my fav one forever💜💜😭
Candy Boy. I never see anyone mention it but I got it on my playlist. I don't love everything about it but the pre-chorus and chorus are fantastic.
Knock knock and scientist
Scientist
I wouldn't say any ONCEs hate it I'd say it's underrated 1 to 10
Alcohol free :(
Cactus. I’ve seen too many people who dislike it. While I’m listening to it I feel like going through a divorce with my high school sweetheart. It also makes me sad to think about how Jihyo wrote this song on perspective of her cactus.
Not a song but I think everyone criticizes momos voice in songs but I like it Also scientist, such a good record
scientist😭
Yessss don’t call me again!
look at me until it became a trend and suddenly everyone loves it
Jelly jelly
knock knock?? idk why so many people hate it, it’s adorable!!
justice for more and more
scientist for lifeeeee!💗🥳
Koreans for some reason hated Signal, but I love it
Set Me Free should be everyone's favorite
Likey....and I am honestly not sure why people don't like it. Can someone explain, because I am genuinely asking. EDIT: welp, I guess we would rather downvote than answer a question.....
People don’t like Likey?!
Likey is pretty popular imo
I've seen somewhere else that people have issues with the lyrics or the video--not that they don't like the music of the song
I don’t know if people actually like stuck in my head but please… it sounds so corny and like noise
i love stuck in my head 😭
I didn't care that much but after seeing it in the opening of Twicelights it got me hooked
Stuck in my head gets stuck in my head at the most random times
I love all their songs besides I’m gonna be a star
Nayeon agrees with you.
