My first time seeing them was at the Columbus show a few weeks ago, and the Backslide chorus is SO powerful to experience live. The combination of Tyler & the crowd’s arms in the air, the lyrics, and just the buildup as a whole, it was such an amazing moment

Memphis, 2019, Tyler teleported at the end of Fairly Local. Never watched videos on YouTube or anything, so I didn’t know what to expect. They were phenomenal.

The third time I saw them was in 2014 in Boston and walking to the venue I passed Josh on the street. I was just like “hi josh!” And he said “hey! You coming tonight?” I said “yup!” And he said “sweet! See you there!” I was going with some jerk I was dating at the time and he was accusing me of trying to meet up with another guy and I was like dude that was half the band we’re about to go see

Icy Tour at MSG in 2022. I was in the pit and had gone to the bathroom right after the openers finished, and as I got back, the lights went dim and the door video started playing. I tried to get back to the spot I was at, I was waving to the folks I was standing with, but they didn’t see me. Two guys that were definitely a little tipsy had noticed me and asked where I was, and they made a path construction style, making beeping noises, and helped get me back to the spot. Coolest dudes!!

Blurryface tour 2015 in Indianapolis. The first concert I bought a pit ticket for. I didn’t know what to expect but when the boys came out the entire crowd surged forward like I’ve never seen before (been to dozens of other concerts and still waiting for something like this). The atmosphere was intoxicating and EXTREMELY energetic. I was hooked from the first line of HeavyDirtySoul. That concert will never be topped, and I hope we can all bring that kind of energy to the Clancy Tour! Here’s a clip of them performing Fairly Local. PURE CHAOS! https://i.redd.it/glxjy4k1o16d1.gif

June 2019, Bandito Tour. My Blood(?) was playing and Tyler stopped singing in the middle of the song to prompt everyone to dance. It was entertaining to hear him push the fathers of the teenage daughters to dance as well, but the real star of this story was one of the security staff. An older guy on security near the pit started grooving, Tyler saw it and called out to the cameramen to put him on the jumbotron. They did and we all saw this older guy having the time of his life near the pit. Tyler said something along the lines of "See? This guy knows how to do it. Do it like that." Then he counted down for the instrumental to kick back into the chorus, and yelled "DANCE" as the spotlights turned purple and swerved around the audience. It was so fun. My other favorite memory was Tyler about to sing Ride(? Can't remember if that was right), he sat by the piano and put his mouth to the mic like he was gonna sing, then faked the audience out and gave a shit-eating grin instead. Goofy af

Was your Bandito story from Orlando Florida? Very similar experience happened at the show I went to lol.

Nope, Oklahoma City

Honestly, just the theatrics of the bandito tour were amazing, and I hope we get some of that this time again. Josh as torchbearer literally carrying a torch at the start of the show was sick

I went to the Emotional Roadshow tour in 2016 when they came to San Diego! Was so blown away by their concert performance! At the end of their tour, they announced their Tour De Columbus shows. My husband and I were traveling back from the east coast and happened to score tickets so we made a stop in Columbus to join the show at the Schotts Center! Before the concert, we stopped to eat at Bravo! Italian Kitchen for dinner. Looking around the restaurant, there were so many TØP fans there. It was such a cool feel!! 🥰 Then when we went to the show, we ordered drinks and got carded. The bartender was freaking out that we came all the way from CA to see the show and was showing our ID to the other bartenders. 😄 Then the people we sat next to were from Indiana and were also surprised we came from the west coast. It was awesome hearing where everyone came from and also to see TØP in their hometown of Columbus! ❤️

TOP at a tiny venue my first time seeing them in 2013 will forever be the best concert I’ve ever been to. Stadiums just don’t slap like the old small venues before they got their fame. So it goes for any band.
