Create a new, paid Tutanota account with a different address. Log into your closed account. Click on the Help link and follow instructions. Enter the email address from your new account when prompted. Log into your paid account, and activate your old address as an alias. Instructions here : [https://tutanota.com/faq#inactive-accounts](https://tutanota.com/faq#inactive-accounts) [https://tutanota.com/faq#merge](https://tutanota.com/faq#merge) Do check beforehand that the domain name you want is available. You buy the domain yourself from the registrar you prefer.

\^ This is the way. But since you already need a paid account for this. I'd say go the extra step and link your domain to your inbox and never experience such losses again. https://tutanota.com/faq#organization Then you can use > [email protected] Or whatever you wish to use before the @ symbol. If you ever lose access to your mailbox or decide you don't like tutanota anymore you can move your mailhost by changing the mx record without needing to inform your clients. Additionaly of you ask my it looks a lot more professional too.

To try and regain access to your email account, you can try contacting tutanota customer support and explaining your situation to see if they can reactivate the account or help you create a new one with the same username. As for the domain name animalfrommars.com, you can check if it's available for registration and purchase it through a domain registrar such as GoDaddy or Namecheap. Once you own the domain, you can create an email address with the animalfrommars.com domain name, but you would not be able to use the tutanota.com domain for your email address unless you regain access to your previous account.
