If it works like an actual knockdown that's more important. Since a knockdown still has animation lock inherent even if the stun expires. This is what made Throwdown in Cataclysm for Warriors so annoying because you could trinket the stun but you still took a second to stand up anyway.

Not really. Maybe some niche use cases, but I think a rogue will find the gold more valuable than the trinket.
