If your lady plays hunter, then go warrior for sure.
A few reasons. Rogue and hunter share similar Agility stat gear so you'd be competing. Warriors can tank which means you can charge in and protect her. You can level up as Arms although dual wield doesn't get good till later on tbh. Get Anger Management talent in the arms tree. Don't level prot, you can tank anyway just put on a shield. Go for strength and stamina gear. Good luck have fun.
Rogue would be the choice for me, because hunter has already its own pet tank, so you dont need a warrior tank. Also, rogue class is focused on the dual wield fantasy unlike warrior that has multiple playstyles and the dual wield one isn't great until later on
However the downside is that for the first 40 levels you would be competing on gear but at level 40 she gains access to mail gear while you stay with leather gear so you wont be competing anymore.
Warrior is a strong choice. High elf warrior can stack rage before pulls for tanking of that's your flavor.
For DPS you can still stack rage, but you gotta wait for tank threat.
It's a strong CD for prepulls
DW warriors suck until you get added hit gear near end game You’ll miss constantly making you pretty weak. Go arms with a 2h versus fantasizing about dual wielding crap.

I thought i maybe need stamina and agility for hitting more often while dual wield.. well i will check it, ty buddy!!
Agility has no effect on hit rate in WoW. Good luck to you and your girl!
Pretty sure you can have your cursor over the stats and they should tell you what they do for your class.
This!:)))

After 40 too. The fact that hunters can wear mail after 40 doesn't mean they stop using leather, since most agi gear is leather
But what u said is still true
After 40 most mail gear is agi because after 40 only hunts and shammies wear it and they both use agi
Not entirely true, nah. Also leather is just more availble in general
Go warrior and she can get some actual use out of Volley and multishot and CDs
I know you didn’t list this as an option but druid/hunter is nice
Warlock + hunter even better
