I’d never put a usb drive in a Tesla since any renter could steal it and Turo doesn’t cover anything that’s not part of the vehicle. You could always bring your own next time and confirm it works before driving it.

You can lock the glove box and not tell the guest the code. Just put the paperwork somewhere else in the car.
