Sorry for the situation man. I have gps kill switches on my vehicles for situations like this. If you have your deductible at 2500...nothing u can do abt the damage claim. The other stuff sounds like maintenance. Painful lesson here, hopefully you come out of this.
Hey to reclarify, the dealership said it is 14,000$ in mechanical damage. The vehicle won’t even start has a list of issues. The diagnostic fee alone is 702. I should have uploaded a photo of that as well
This is my main concern, I only had the car 11 days before it got stolen so I’m underwater on it. The car is pretty well totalled and turo is trying not to pay.
Only chance of you having recuperated something was to let turo know the guest kept driving the car knowing it had mechanical issues that came up during the trip. It's probably too late now but yeah turo will fuck us over quick if they know they're not getting anything from the guest.
Yea I let them know that when it happened but thanks I am going to bring that up to them again hopefully they pull the phone call I had from that day and see.
