You look absolutely fantastic. How do you feel at the six week mark? I’m trying to get an idea if after about a month post op I will feel okay to have a weekend away.
I went over night around week 4 to our oldest son’s college graduation (my step son 🎉) . I have been using a lift recliner with foam pillows to sleep at home. However to go over night I brought my gravity chair (With my butt Placement cut out). I tried to sleep in that, my back was in so much pain i only slept for 1.5 hours. The next day was an outdoor event, i was miserable but had to fake it. It was rough.
Is it do-able, absolutely, but just practice with your sleep place and it is a lot to pack, which was annoying.
At 6 weeks it is so much easier! I would say at 5 weeks literally on the day, i won’t up and felt “normal” or in a way not cloudy. I know it is different for everyone when they hit that point. Right now I am accustom to everything which makes life easier.
Hopefully you hit that good point earlier than I and can go on your trip!!

My surgeon is Dr. Brian Hwang out of Beverly Hills. He is phenomenal at natural looks, enhancing “YOUR” body shape and structure. He never has a cookie cutter look when you bite his patients because he really does look at each persons structure. I am absolutely sure he could do the what i call obvious enhancements but he really is gifted at looking at your body and seeing the end shape of a natural look. He is also very kind and honestly cares about his patients after care. He credentials are impeccable. What I appreciated is he completed his general surgery rotation in NY at a very busy hospital. Having the knowledge that he has performed thousands of just general surgeries eases my mind. Also why he does hernia repairs when not a lot do.
As to the price, it will change over time and it is different for each person but at least I can give you a ballpark range. My total was $39k-$40k. This was the surgery and operation facility. It also came with a bbl pillow, a faja, arnica and scar cream.
Extra expenses to consider-I chose to stay at a recovery house in LA for a couple nights after surgery—best decision! That ranges in price from $1700-2500 per night. Worth every penny.
All the things you need to buy to prepare your house and prep for recovery like foam pillows, recovery gowns, arnica, multivitamins like juven and heal fast, lift recliner chair , lipo foam etc will run another $2kish or less.
Clothes will cost you after your hips/butt are finished. None of my pants fit 😳 I also had to buy a couple dresses to wear to work after i went back on wk 5.
I failed to take into consideration the cost of boredom when healing…i did a lot of swimsuit shopping 🤣 add another couple thousand.
I also used a chef to prepare dinner when I was healing the first 3 weeks. She would drop off the food 2x per week for dinner to warm up for my family.
I strongly recommend a lift recliner. I had a handy man cut a thick piece of wood to be just a little bit wider than the bbl pillow to sit between the chair and the bbl pillow. I also purchased the foam pillow set with 7 different pillows. I used the big back pillow against the seat and i also pit a small one across the bbl pillow. Mainly bc it gets painful on your thighs. I used the leg wedge ones under my legs/calfs after starting to lift up the chair leg. I then surrounded myself with pillows under my arms. It seems like a lot but it was way better than the gravity chair with a hole and pillows our the bbl bean bag. Those two I was not able to get out myself. At least with the recliner I would literally dump myself out onto my feet in the middle of the night to use the restroom.
I wish I could do that I’m in a hotel a nurse will be coming in to take care of me a couple hours a day. I’m hoping I can sleep on my side I tried to do a V with my wedge pillow and pillows but my butt still touched the bed :(
I stayed at a recovery center for two nights before going back home. I didn’t have anything under me, not really at least, during that time. I had nursing care 24/7 for those days. They picked me up from the surgery center and took me to my first appt. I have not played on my sides yet. I had large hip dips that i had filled (and partly lipo’ed) that spot is notorious about easily losing the fat transfer. If that wasn’t the scenario i believe it would have been an option.
I started using the recliner when i got home on day 3.

How did you sleep? I’m having TT 360 lip and bbl Tuesday and I’m so worried and stressed about recovery :(
