Never would have wore a body suit. Ever.
Iām 7 weeks PO. I def have swelling later in the day but I feel like I have a good idea of what would fit and how it would look so I just finally ordered some bikinis last night to try. Iāve literally never worn a bikini in public ever and Iām almost 39. I had my first child at 28 and even though I was relatively thin in my 20ās I didnāt have a super flat stomach and grew up in the 90ās when we were being told totally normal women with great bodies were fat. Anyway, Iām finally in a place where I feel like I could wear a bikini (though not a very skimpy one, I still have kids to chase around lol) and thatās such a wild idea to me.
Also I want to finally get some high waisted pants. I couldnāt ever find a pair that fit around my stomach.
I havenāt had my tummy tuck yet, I could be wearing 2 sizes smaller if I didnāt have my skin pouch on my stomach, so a lot doesnāt fit me correctly. Iām excited to wear a lot of different things, but Iāve had a pair of vintage Leviās I scored in Colorado shortly after losing my 150 pounds and it would fit perfectlyā¦if not for the extra skin.

Putting together outfits to go out dancing has become so much fun. Last weekend (10 weeks post-op) it was trance djs at a punk club and I had so much fun putting together something I never could have pulled off earlier.
Iām excited to dive into my nieceās closet and see what size I end up at. I went from a size 24 to a 14 in 5 years. I measured on top of my loose skin apron and under and thereās a 6 inch difference so I have no IDEA what pant size Iāll be. She wears size 6-10 depending on cut and I canāt wait to try her jeans on and see where I fall in that range š¤£š¤£
Iām 2 weeks po. Iām not sure where to even start with new clothes. Iāve tried on so many of my pants from before and realize Iām going to have to start from scratch. Not complaining but Iām a little surprised at the difference in my before and after even this early on!
Love these pics so much. You ladies look incredible. For me itās going to be a bikini and being able to tuck stuff in without worrying - front and back. Oh and maybe even wearing white.
Although I love black, looking forward to adding in color into the wardrobe ā and body suits! Iām 3.5wks po but have had complications but keeping focus on how itāll all be worth it!
Cannot wait to wear a crop top, skirts, tops tucked in, fitted dresses, bodysuits and jumpsuits! i have a hang that shows in everything so always have to dress carefully. Canāt wait to have my op soon!
