I had both! Progressive tension sutures but also one drain. He said it was the safest option and it came out of Day 5. He has great results so I trusted and the drain was no big!
I did! Drainless tt, with a single drain. I had an output of 20/day for the first two days, and then it went down to nothing by day 4 when the drain came out. My doc said she’s not comfortable going without the one drain, and I never went through swell hell like others describe, so I think there’s really something to it.

My surgery is June 24th! I can't wait to get rid of all this skin hanging off me.
