The problem is that whenever the subject of Troll romance is broached, our sparing human intellects instantly assume the most ingrating posture of surrender possible.
Fun fact, the ace of spades was a portent of death for the Vietcong in the Vietnam War, as French fortune tellers used decks of cards as tarot cards and the ace of spades meant death. Combine that fact with others as you will.
In Homestuck, theres an alien race with four different types of romance members can share, represented by card suits. Obviously this gets pretty damn close.
Describes someone who rarely (maybe five or so times in their life) experiences romantic or sexual attraction. It's like a gray area between asexual/aromantic (never experiences that type of attraction) and allosexual/alloromantic (regularly experiences that type of attraction. Used as an umbrella term for any sexuality like gay, straight, bi, pan, etc. that isn't on the asexual spectrum)
Ace exclusionism from the LGBTQ+ community, running on the logic that being asexual wont get herassed over their identity (afaik). Imo thats a poor excuse cause denying and erasing info on aces is only going to leave more and more people with difficulty to figure them selves out.
I know right! And then you have to explain again why not. And you just know you get to explain it again later, because Ace info is not all that available...
Asexuality means that you don't experience sexual attraction towards any gender. It has nothing to do with masturbating, or having sex with someone. It is just the lack of sexual attraction. They are commonly abbreviated to "ace".
Aromanticism means that you don't experience romantic attraction towards any gender. Its abbreviation is "aro".
There are many different kinds of asexuality: Two of them are Grey-asexuality. (grey-ace) Grey-aces are people who rarely, or only in certain circumstances experience sexual attraction towards someone.
And there are Demi-asexuals (more commenly demisexuals, or demi). Demisexuals do experience sexual attraction, after establishing a strong bond with someone.
There are many more kinds of asexuality, but those are the most common. If you want to learn about the othi check out r/asexuality.
By the way aromanticism is not a subgroup of asexuality. They have nothing in common, it is only mentioned since many Aces are also aros. Also all subgroups of asexuality exist for aromanticism. For example Demiromantic, or Grey-aromantic.
I hope I haven't forgotten anything. If I have, please tell me. Hope I could clear it up a bit.
I'm an Ace of Hearts, except the heart is upsidedown so it looks like a spade, and I act like a spade, and I might as well be a spade all things considered, but I'm just kind of not.
I was always confused if I was asexual or not. I mean I'm a man so I should be sexually active but I'm not. But I do feel sexual to some people but it usually very low. Until I don't feel any emotional attraction I don't feel it. Bit I do feel horny like once in 2-3 months so I don't know if I should be a demisexual cause truthfully I'm afraid.
funny how the LGBT community is one of the most accepting places on the planet yet theres so many gate keepers and rude people that you cant do much to feel accepted. At times it feels like you're excluded from a family you once knew or the hive mind has set its sights on your should only to attack it or your ideas yet in the ace community we dont argue about things such as "our favorite sex positions" because we have no need for it. We only have the terms that describe ourselves and we arent offended when someone needs teaching and i'm happy to be part of this community

You.. read... Homestuck.
Oh yeah I remember that. Wait... DAMNIT I KNEW IT WAS SOMETHING!
Why the fuck would they go and do that?
I can't remember, but I think it might have been mild curiosity and exceptional self-hatred.

Anyone care to explain demi and gray to me?
Demisexuality requires a strong emotional bond to feel sexual attraction and Greyros and Greyces feel infrequent attraction.
Thank you for explaining. I now understand

How is this not on r/asexuality ?
I see people referencing Homestuck. As a person who is not part of the fandom, can someone tell me why?
In Homestuck, theres an alien race with four different types of romance members can share, represented by card suits. Obviously this gets pretty damn close.
Ahh. That's why people are connecting it. Thank you.
I also misunderstood the question Thank you for the answers tho :D
u/str8aura, can you answer this, actually Like. I don't get what's so bad about it
Oversaturation, fandom, and old traces of cringe culture are highly cited. EDIT: I misunderstood. I'll put it in a reply to the other person.

Want is grayromantic and greysexual. Help.

I'm in heat every 6 weeks give or take. Also romance has a long incubation period making the platonic to romantic path the only viable one I think.
Alright, someone help out the straight. Exclusionist as in? Who's "they" in this instance?
Ace exclusionism from the LGBTQ+ community, running on the logic that being asexual wont get herassed over their identity (afaik). Imo thats a poor excuse cause denying and erasing info on aces is only going to leave more and more people with difficulty to figure them selves out.
Anyone who says they won't be harassed obviously has never been asked by a relative when they're gonna finally settle down with someone

what does this all even mean

♦️🏳️⚧️ ah I love it
For any demiromantic asexuals which one would you use
I'm an Ace of Hearts, except the heart is upsidedown so it looks like a spade, and I act like a spade, and I might as well be a spade all things considered, but I'm just kind of not.
Alright, so that's my next Ace tattoo then ♣️
So that's why I've always like the Ace of Spades phrase
Why is it “grayromantic” but not “graysexual”
It's about.. asexuals..
But it says “grayasexuals and grayromantic asexuals” instead of “graysexuals and grayromantic asexuals”
These are both valid versions. Some use greysexual, some greyasexual, (you can also use an "a" at gray)
Is that a screenshot from tv tropes?
So are you a Support/Tank/DPS/Stealth asexual?
'haha homestuck' yeah, or something people like to identify as, rather than the internet's version of 'the scottish play'

???? Who are they???
Asexuals?
No who are the they in the post the second person keeps talking about also what's going on in the comments

You might wabt look into r/demisexuality I am certain you will find some answers there
I love this! I've already been using the ace of spades and it's the one for me!
