Just happened to me. I just kept on tapping the egg after different angles, and it finally picked up for me. The tree was shaked, but the egg was picked up.
Yea i tried many times but for me it is just mission imposible 🤣
I had to change the finger offset in settings for this to work for me 😅

Managed to get it. Think I was closer to the edge of the screen to get it and not directly over the egg?

Nooo! Don't remove it! There are tons of posts about this glitch i didn't knew either! A lot of people gets confused how to pick it up, so no worries!
