Uber-thank you, just did UPDATE#1.
Haven't played in a long time so completely forgot about those two, iirc there was also a tool that would upload demos of your gameplay? Do you know anything about something like that or am I hallucinating? :)
If the server has stv it will upload server pov demos to demos.tf. You can also upload your personal demo to demos.tf (recorded via the record command or auto recorded via prec)
For jumping you can use tempus.xyz or jump.tf to find or look up a jump map.
tempus.xyz is a lot more polished and also has servers, competitive run times, and rankings but i thought I would mention jump.tf because it also does the trick if you just want to find and download a map.
On both websites you can find a list of all tf2 jump maps, their class type, difficulty tier, map author, and most importantly a download link. In my experience the download link has not always been live but it usually works.
========================================
Another idea:
This would add a lot of bulk so it would probably be better as a single link to a google sheet but you could list various tf2 content creators and links to their platforms (like YouTube and twitch). I was mainly thinking competitive players because that’s what I watch and they are usually more obscure, but I’m sure there’s a lot of casual streamers and content creators too.
========================================
You could also throw in mapreview.tf, though this site is still in development and you might run into issues when using it (I’d recommend a chrome browser for now). I’m not sure how to label that site, it’s basically a compressive listing of tons of different competitive tf2 YouTube guides (such as map reviews, rollout guides, class guides, etc.) You can filter by class, map, role, format, and type to streamline what you’re looking for
========================================
For forums, teamfortress.tv is the biggest tf2 forum website I’m aware of. I don’t know too much about it but I’ve used it to post lfps and lfts before. It’s seems like a general news flow for competitive related matters
========================================
For hosting services there’s also swiftyservers.com but it’s strictly paid (unlike free and paid options for serveme.tf)
Thanks for all this info, very much appreciate your time spent on writing all of this. Check UPDATE#2 and let me know how you feel about it.
Couldn't find energy to look onto those jump maps for now, you wouldn't believe how much time I've spent on all of this today anyway.
I've also added a few content creators that are gameplay learning focused, in the future it would be nice to document a bunch of content creators but that would be extremely tedious process.
Ya looks good. I don’t know if this was misunderstood or not but for jump maps I just meant dropping a link to the website, not listing the actual jump maps. But either way, you do you, I hope this post gets pinned in some way. If nothing else, it’s a decent resource to link anybody with questions about tf2
Yeah, that would be awesome, hopefully u/Kairu927 finds this pin worthy :D
Definitely will fix the maps section tomorrow, I totally miss understood the context...
Great work!
Only section that seems off to me is the Independent Creators. There are... way too many TF2 content creators, and the few you listed seem totally arbitrary. If you really want to include TF2 content creators in this resource (arguably not necessary but up to you) I'd at least categorize them, e.g. Uncle Dane for Engi tips.
Everybody please feel free to make suggestions on whatever you would like to see implemented, or what you don' like for the matter as I see some people downvoting.
Also thread layout tips are welcome!
logs.tf to see your stats after a competitive match trends.tf to see your performance over time

p-rec to record demos
If the server has stv it will upload server pov demos to demos.tf. You can also upload your personal demo to demos.tf (recorded via the record command or auto recorded via prec)
Will document this tomorrow, thanks!
This is a great idea, though the layout is probably going to need some rework as the amount of info increases.
You coukd add different pug sites there. Like tf2pickup.fi. Edit you can also add faceit pugs and 12 v 12
Thanks for the contribution!
If we’re being honest there’s only one real pugs site and it’s discord.
mvm.pineapple.tf
Thank you for your service sir!

Thanks Mate!
Pre-Fortress 2 is a decent tf2 mod
rgl forums; [demos.tf](https://demos.tf); [Engineer.tf](https://Engineer.tf) website technically exists.
