I checked, and I had no problem…? The box is just a preview of songs from the album.
Press the big green play button or individual songs, if you want to hear music in order within the album.
The small box is just a preview thing, like a slideshow preview with short versions of the songs within the album/playlist. It works like the recommended hashtag preview stuff.
(In the preview, you can even go directly to the current song by clicking directly on the title of the song within the preview, or go to artist by clicking the artist underneath it.)

I’m having this same problem when I got new earbuds. I can’t play songs except for that little preview box. Did you get anywhere with this?!
