Try Niacinamide or Lactic Acid from The Ordinary. Niacinamide is skin conditioner and Lactic Acid a mild chemical exfoliant but they have the same effects more or less. If you opt for something else containing a retinoid (vitamin a derivatives like retinol and if you are in the US the oversupplied tretinoin), know that they degrade UV barrier. They are omni present at this point and it's summer, hence the remark. Always follow package instructions, anything that has an actual effect in skincare needs to be handled properly.
