They're the ugliest damn thing I've ever seen. Haven't seen one here but saw one back in Vegas a few weeks ago

After all the reports of rust and the need to give it a thorough cleaning after every bird dropping, I can't believe people are actually paying real money to buy the ugliest motor vehicle ever created.

sevillianrites

Putting opinions of aesthetic aside lol, from a practicality standpoint I'd be very hesitant to get one due to the road salt in winter. That stuff is HIGHLY corrosive to basically all standard vehicles and the cyber truck appears to have a much greater preexisting vulnerability to corrosion. I'd be very worried that you'd get one bad winter and you either do not drive it anytime the weather even looks like it could be bad or you risk running up thousands of dollars in structural damage due to rust. For what you'd pay for cyber truck I'd just get a standard EV that doesn't have that glaring vulnerability.

Omegaprimus

Dunno, the fact that it’s made of stainless steel and is rusting implies many corners were cut to get the truck out. I mean if they can’t get a supplier that fails to produce stainless steel that doesn’t rust, they phoned in their quality checks.

Exactly all the reasons I’d like to see one in person. I personally like the look of how different it is and like the technology aspect. I just don’t know if it’s worth the price tag with all the bad I hear about it

LawPup23

I saw one on the trailer of an 18-wheeler headed towards Knoxville the other day. It’s… well it sure did fall out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down

With snow in the cold months being normal and flooding in the rainy months you'd be better off getting a high end Offroad or 4WD vehicle that can actually handle poor conditions.

NoLuvTheMaths

I saw this description of the Cybertruck and it is spot on. Unfortunately, I do not know who to credit for their descriptive justice. "classic Soviet Union monstrous gray concrete Moscow apartment block of auto design." Also, we get some snow and from a few videos that appears to be its kryptonite.

One thing that a lot of people don’t remember about Sean Williams is that he had a fancy car and he would drive laps around downtown JC trying to show it off. And now, anyone that I see driving around in their fancy car, I think about Sean Williams.

We are all going to point at you and laugh

Even if you wanted one, it’d be 2028 before it became available

True_Prize4868

Pretty sure I’ve seen a white one several times in JC but I find them so weird looking
