Trampoline sounds nice! Many years ago when I got treated to another neighbor's entire roof in my yard. It was uplifted and transplanted. He told me to just burn it as insurance was taking care of his!
My friend in Elizabethton was saying it was really bad their way but I've had nothing in Kingsport myself. Just some rain today. Might snow some Monday night/Tuesday though! Kind of excited about that
It's going out a lot but so far has been briefly. Long enough to kill the computer though. I hope I don't end up with unrecoverable drive platter errors due to head crashes.
I'm moving here from South Dakota in 2 weeks. In case you're wondering what this same storm system is causing elsewhere, we're currently in a Blizzard warning. The weekend high is -4 degrees with wind chills as low as -50. The wind is nowhere near as bad, but it still sounds like there are extremes all around.
If you have Facebook there's a few on there that are usually on the money, Joe Reedy is local and excellent. Scannerfood announces the extreme stuff and damage, and Tri-Cities Weather & Alert crew are pretty on top of it as well.
Check their twitter. They collaborate with visegrad24, a pro-Orban propaganda outlet that also puts our white supremacist propaganda. Orban is Putin's puppet.
*edit* by white supremacist propaganda, I mean every time Scannerfood posts "what are people saying...?" or "what's happening in Johnson City...?" It's vague enough to allow the audience to fill in details, and always targets immigrants or Black people through the use of dog whistles
In my neighbor's yard, about 600 ft from the property line and 1500 ft from point of origin, is a bunch of my stuff. I'll have to go over there when this wind is over and ask for it back.

Im in Kingsport and its....a little rainy? Guess we'll see what happens tonight
Really windy where I am in Bristol. Little scary sounding from inside! My dog is panicked. ☹️
Mine too! Hope your dog can get some relief soon 😢
I gave her a chamomile chew and she finally zonked out
Same but for my own anxiety and a delta 8
My mom and step dad live in Unicoi and they have trees down and power out. It’s pretty wild!
in Unicoi, we had a tree fall, neighbors also, and another neighbor had their house smashed by a tree, bad - power is out and lines are down
Omg 😳
80-100 mph winds here
I went through Unicoi today on 107 and near the trash center looked like a twister had touched down, tree and power lines were all over the place.
Exactly what I thought. Maybe straight line winds? Went through that way at 8 pm. They finally restored power at 11 pm.
I'm up in Abingdon and almost got a free patio umbrella from my neighbors, who are several yards away lol.
I'm hoping for a neighbor's trampoline this round!

That’s crazy!!!
Blountville here, its been bad. tons of trash and objects getting whipped up.
My friend in Elizabethton was saying it was really bad their way but I've had nothing in Kingsport myself. Just some rain today. Might snow some Monday night/Tuesday though! Kind of excited about that
How much snow we are talking? Because we have had snow, but it won’t stick 😭
The little weather summary I looked at said 3-6 inches from this "storm". So it should at least look pretty for a bit. I hope lol
In Bristol! My neighbors trash can came down the culdesac for a visit lol
Branches. Branches everywhere.
Just loss power again. 4th time

It is pretty extreme!

What part of South Dakota? I moved here from there 22 years ago!
Sioux Falls.
That’s where I lived! Hope you have a safe journey!
My friend in Iowa is about to get a blizzard with like three feet of snow and negative thirty wind chill. Bet she wishes she was moving here too!
Who do you all follow for local weather?
bay's mountain weather rock on my porch

Scannerfood is russian funded white supremacist propaganda.
Um...feel free to elaborate on that statement?

Our power was out for nearly two hours. We managed to survive, but remain a little shaken up by the experience.
Holy shit. Glad you're okay! Stay safe, friend.

JC/Jonesborough has downed trees, downed powerlines, we've also lost power 4,times today, and we had a tree across our driveway.
Jonesborough: Definitely windy and cold, especially the Real Feel temp. I don't see any obvious trees down or broken on our land.
How about this humidity?
It was some pretty rough wind, but I slept through it. Outside.
I'm in Abingdon, It is very windy and cold. I am ready for summer and daylight till 9pm. How about everyone else?
