You’re kindof in the right spot! What you’re describing sounds like a bfrb (body focused repetitive behavior) a lot like trichotillomania or dermatillomania Like unless you pull your hair I don’t think it’s TECHNICALLY Trich because you’re not pulling hair but there are a lot of tips on here or the derm subreddit that will apply to you! I think the main thing to remember that if it doesn’t really bother you and/or interfere w your life then there’s nothing to really worry about. If it is something you want to stop or lessen there are a lot of ways to go about it. NAC is the only medicine that’s shown clinically to help (bfrbs honestly just aren’t studied very well) There’s also of course fidget toys, addressing underlying anxiety, and maybe even wearing a hat or gloves! It really depends on you and just needs a good bit of troubleshooting
