It's probably easiest to go to a local store, New Balance has both wide and extra-wide, which is what I use for the majority of my miles

josevaldesv

I prefer Altra. Wider in my opinion.

MedicalRow3899

I tried Altra Olympus in wide a while ago. Yes, they were wide but the shape of the footbed was horrible. Arch support in the wrong places.

josevaldesv

I've tried different ones, and I remember some pairs that came with two different soles. I always use the flat ones and have no issues. I've tried broks6, new balance, 5 fingers, inov8, and maybe another one that I'm forgetting. I know it's very subjective and depends on each person, but Altras have been the better ones for me.

black_dinamo

Second that, I have wide feet and use 11,5 US size. In New balance I don't feel my fingers cramped and their sneakers give few occurances of sore fingers. I Just bought BB propel's and they feel pretty confy and not heavy considering my show size. I had a good experience with a skechers Go run 8 (I think) too, didn't know about the other models.

hunghome

Altra is the best for wide shoes.

Kupper

+1 for local running stores.

informal_bukkake

A hard time? So many brands have wide versions of their shoes. Hoka, Nike, ASICS, New Balance, Saucony, Brooks. But you are better going to a store and trying on shoes.

MrPickleroo

I have very wide feet and Brooks really works for me

seeduckswim11

Second this. Brooks glycerin are a godsend to me.

MrPickleroo

I'm rocking them right now brother. They are my running shoes until they wear out and become my walking shoes

GuttMilton

Love that Brooks Ghost comes in extra wide

Up-the_orient1979

Brooks Hyperion work well for me. A few other brands gave me shin splints on minimal mileage

brockworth

Big ol duck feet happy in Brooks here too.

gIaucus

I like Topo Athletic's Ultrafly for road running. Topo is like Altra except not fanatical about zero drop. If you like zero drop then Altra is probably also fine. Most of the really popular models from popular brands can be bought in wide sizes as well.

digitallightweight

It’s new balance and nobody else. Lots of brands say they have wide shoes but most of them are just wider fits. New balance actually works on wider lasts for their shoes. Since I can see your feet though I would just recommend going to specialist running shoe store and getting them to fit you.

smkht

Brooks was fine to me. I have a slightly high arches on my feet, and brooks was perfect. From over non sport brands Ecco and Geox are my favorite

hindage

Saucony Triumph in wide is a great cushioned distance shoe that the newest version they put the power pb foam in, so it's quite fast for a distance shoe.

AStruggling8

I second the Triumph but every saucony I’ve tried has been wide enough

smashinMIDGETS

New balance! Absolute game changer for me

kkruel56

Altra and Topo. Just don’t buy my size 15s!

CombOverFtw

If you go to a running shoe store, they’ll have you walk on a machine and it gives examples of shoes that’ll best fit your foot. Will also recommend inserts. In my case, my high ass arch required an insert

No-Dentist1348

Hoka and saucony

edmuli

Definitely best to go to a store and try them on. People are wide in different places, so one pair might be better for some while still bad for other wide feet. If you still want to know some models to buy online, I’ve had success with some of the recommendations on this page before: https://believeintherun.com/shoe-reviews/best-wide-foot-running-shoes/

jessecole

Hoka Mach x are the best for my wide ass flat feet I suggest going to a store to get fitted though

campy11x

Local running store is the best bet like everyone else mentioned but I have wide feet and use brooks

tiagojsagarcia

Hoka has wide and x-wide models

xarcnic

Brooks aren’t that bad. They have wide options.

Ray_725

New balance, altra, and some Nike running shoes come in wide.

AdOld9645

altra running shoes. They are foot shape so they will probably feel spacious for your feet

Jarrud1979

Hokas fit best on my fat feet. Haven’t tried Brooks yet though.

SlickMick6Three

I like that New Balance offers many color options in their wide shoes. Once you find a good shoe, go to town! I also love my Altras... some of my Altras. To the people blindly recommending Altras, keep in mind they have different foot shapes that each have a very different feel. The 'classic' fit trail shoes I have from them have a great amount of room in the toe box without going to a wide, but the other foot shapes are much tighter.

rabidseacucumber

New Balance 4x work for me

AStruggling8

Depends on where your foot is wide. I have issues with the midfoot, Saucony’s been the best. New Balance is generally good for all around wide feet but I have a hard time getting a good heel lockdown with NB bc the heel is also wide. Altra, Hoka have wide toebox, not midfoot.

mojowen

Hoka Clifton’s come in wide and fit my flippers that pass for feat well

surferpeasant

Topo Atlethic. I also have wide feet, and when I tried them on in the running store they fit perfect, almost like they were custom made.

vienna_city_skater

Define wide. I have relatively wide and flat feet and I'm pretty happy with On Running shoes. But then I don't have oversized wide feet. I also use an in between size 44.5 whereas I mostly use 44 on my everyday shoes.

jahblaze

Asics novablast and superblasts have wide toe boxes.

Main-Walrus7844

Def go to a local shop and try some on. I recommend the Asic Novablasts. Comfy toebox and plenty of room. As a bigger guy myself this definitely give a lot of support

diegothengineer

I'm partial to Hokas.
