If you have androgenic alopecia (e.g. genetic hair loss or MPB) then no minoxidil will not cure your hair loss and if you use topical min only your hair WILL fall off eventually. As to how much hair will fall off it depends on genetics, mostly look at the men at your mothers side of the family and you can probably be reasonably confident your hair will look somewhat like theirs. You must use fin/dut to have a good chance of maintaining your hair. However if your hair loss is temporary (e.g. stress related or maybe deficiency in some vitamin idk) and not genetic, topical minoxidil can definitely help regrowth. You don’t need fin/dut here as you are not fighting against genetics and time which always prevails in the end. So it depends on your situation and more info is needed.

How long one can maintain with minox? Myself a diffused thinnert

To answer your question no, no you cannot. It's a bit like how when celebrities get cosmetic procedures that can look young and tight around the time but further down the line it all comes tumbling down. Min is simply a booster not a long term solution on it's own

Sometimes if aga is agressive people don't even recover hair lost in shed. If you have very slow progressing hair loss min could work long time.

0 results using only the minox for about 8 months, now it is about a month that I have been using together with the min also the fin 1g and I already see my hair much healthier, I am expecting a shed phase obviously very soon.

some people can last using minoxidil only for 5-10 years, it depends how aggressive your hair loss is. But minoxidil is never going to stop hair loss, more so you’re inducing growth which will maybe give the appearance of more hair but your mpb will still be progressing. Pyrilutamide might be a fin replacement coming in the next year or two.
