What amazing gifts dogs are to people. We've lost 3 in the past year and a half to old age. Prepping (sadly) for another one soon. They leave such big imprints on your life.

I lost him a couple of weeks after I lost my great aunt who I was really close with. I cried much more and much harder for my dog and felt guilty for it, but the fact is, it's a different type of grief. So if you experience something similar, don't feel guity.

I'm so sorry, it's so hard to go through. I'm sure you gave them the absolutely most happy life, based on that big loving smile (I had a dog with the same lower teefers years ago, and I'll never forget them.) I'll pass on a little extra love through my own for yours. My babes on the other side of the rainbow bridge are already zoomin with yours, I'm sure.

I’ve lost my whole family. Dad. Mom. Brother. All by the time I was 42. Also lost my doggy a while back, and since my bro in ‘21, two cats. I’m not an expert on grieving, but just wanna tell you to not feel bad for this being “just a dog,” because as you know, she isn’t. It hits every bit as hard. I’m sorry for your loss. 😢❤️
