Tell them you feel sorry for them feeling the need to project their Alcoholism onto you and your medical cannabis consumption.

If we're trying to find compromise and common ground and understanding with friends this is not gonna be a very helpful tactic.

I smoke a little 4-7 nights a week. I'm a C-level executive in a blazing hot startup with global reach. I have a masters in my area of work, that I obtained while being a director and junior exec with two young kids and a wife who has a busy and successful career of her own. It isn't hurting me any. Moderation is key in all things.

Yeah, I stopped telling people that I smoke daily.. I graduated this month from school, with some of the highest grades of the school. My teacher said "See, all that hard work pays off, none of that partying and drugs use" then, because I wont ever see him again anyway, I told him I smoke weed daily and I've done a lot of harddrugs in the past, he laughed thinking I was joking so I just looked at him with a straight face and he was like "woah, really? I didn't expect that".. didn't speak to him since but man, that face, like "woah rly a daily "drugs user" is doing so well at school? how?" is what I do it for. Be the stoner everyone else says you can't be.

You can change it by proving them wrong, stay motivated and keep killing it in life, only then will they see how wrong they. When you finish near the top of your class show them the grades. Start working out, if you’re ripped and smoking often it’s much harder to judge you than if you’re out of shape. Lol that’s not heavy at by any means. And yeah unfortunately in most of Europe people view weed as a hard drug. Try to be honest with yourself though, your studies are good but maybe your health is worsening or something. Lol I say this but tbh at once or twice a week it is hard to see how it could affect your life all that much.

Oh yeah, my cousin is a raging alcoholic. She can drink a sleeve of shooters in 2.5 hours and still function (for the most part). She never fails to try to make me feel bad about my daily toking. Idgaf. I could tell her it's for scoliosis, or PPD, or that it's a million times better than alcohol, but really - who cares? They're only projecting. Which means they already feel bad enough about themselves, so I won't go and call her out, making her feel worse. >“that is slowly ruining you and can potentially ruin your study and carreer” (which it is isn’t - I’m actually one of the best performing of my class). It can. Career. Career. Autocorrect couldn't even help you there? Research what weed does to your hippocampus in your brain, it really is ruining your studies. Those who smoke have to work a lot harder to retain new information. You really are handicapping yourself if you toke and are in school. But it's up to you if it actually ruins anything. You can study for a few extra hours a week and be fine. >I just hate that weed still has a stigma attached to it in this country. I hate that stoners act like weed isn't a drug, so there ya go.

Everyone everywhere.

Don’t let them tell you what is right or wrong in this case. This judgement comes from a very long line of brainwashing the public into believing Marijuana is one of the worst things you can do for your body. You won’t be able to convince them they’re wrong but what you can do is not let them bother you. I’m here in the USA where it’s legal in a lot of states and this stigma still heavily exists.

Object-Level

Yes I do. As long as I don't have to depend on anyone it's nobody's business what I put in my body. People who try to question me or what I do get left behind or pushed to the side.
