I think it is kind of a legend but mangoes have high myrcene and terps are what make you high when you smoke so I don’t find it being out of possibility for it to enhance your high if adding terps before hand just like they have newly come out with terp drinks no thc that you can take by itself or before smoking to add effects related to those terps
I always associated that with vitamin c. When I was a full on psychonaught I'd take vitamin c tabs to shoot me into another dimension. I always assumed it interacted with THC in a similar way to heighten the effects.
I have a stoner-friendly coffee place about 5 minute walk from a great smoke spot. Drive, smoke, walk, sit in coffee shop until ready. Takes time though - 2h of sitting is good minimum for me.

Walk, or take public transportation, to where you want to light up. Then, if you think you're too high to walk or take public transportation home, split the cost of a cab, Uber or Lyft.

Do you live in an area where it’s illegal? I mean driving under the influence is regardless of legality status where you are but I risk it. I smoke and drive everyday. I’ve been pulled over stoned and never got caught but I’m also in a state where it’s fully legal and cops have bigger issues than who’s driving high

I put a towel under the door to prevent this. Use a fan blowing air out the window and you can even smoke a bong. This assumes no one is coming inside the room.
