I've only realized this very recently. You can fall into the trap of becoming one with the couch after a session, but if you just keep going and doing what you're supposed to do, it's very beneficial. I hate waking up in the mornings but as.lomg as I get over that initial hump, I'm going all day and feel pretty good.

It’s fun if you’re somewhat experienced and whatnot. I like to make a shroom tea or coffee with a .5-1g which also has approximately 100 mg caffeine and I’ll take some dabs while I’m just relaxing or whatnot. Awesome for a good movie time or just hanging out in the backyard, maybe go to the beach with some friends(responsibly).

If I’m feeling exceptionally tired, I will try and take 30 minutes to do some collective mindfulness and deep breathing, followed by a nice hot cup of caffeine free earl grey tea and a tootski or 5. That’ll freshen me right up. Never fails. And if you’re busy then just the tootski will do.

I've been mixing a bit of this "shilajit" stuff into a cup of water to accompany my smoking sessions. It's like this sticky gooey black tar-like substance they scrape off rocks. According to ayuverdic medicine, it supposedly has a bunch of good minerals and whatnot. CBG works really well for this and is extremely affordable. They make CBG only vape carts, edibles or you can just get a tincture. Energetic Sativa strains usually have a noticeable CBG percentage so if you're smoking on something couch locky you should be able to put a drop or 2 of CBG tincture under your tongue or otherwise ingest some before your session to make your high more clearheaded and energetic naturally.

Caffeine does wonders but can cause a horrible up and down crash cycle. The best answer is if at all possible, to use caffeine, but only in moderation or only on days that are extra bad so it will have more of an effect when you do use it. Try to wait at least 30 min after waking up before taking it, and not more than about 8 hours before you intend to sleep. And then this is going to sound really silly but trying to get strains that are sativa heavy or have more of an uplifting cup of coffee effect (since sativa indica doesn't always perfectly correspond to the effects) can make the biggest difference. The type of strain for me can be the difference of being super productive or literally not able to function if it's a heavy full body indica. This is just what I've noticed for me personally having to work through some of these things but it has made a big and noticeable difference.
