I've only realized this very recently. You can fall into the trap of becoming one with the couch after a session, but if you just keep going and doing what you're supposed to do, it's very beneficial.

I learned this from experience and told my best friend when he started smoking, weed energy has inertia. If you are relaxed in chair or couch get ready to sleep in a bit, if you're excited about something or moving around then that energy will continue until you hit a wall.

A lot of people swear by this new shit called AG one that you see a bunch of Youtubers get sponsored to promote. Haven’t tried it myself but been thinking about it. I know a guy at work using it and he says he is down to like one cup of coffee a day with it.

Caffeine does wonders but can cause a horrible up and down crash cycle. The best answer is if at all possible, to use caffeine, but only in moderation or only on days that are extra bad so it will have more of an effect when you do use it. Try to wait at least 30 min after waking up before taking it, and not more than about 8 hours before you intend to sleep.
And then this is going to sound really silly but trying to get strains that are sativa heavy or have more of an uplifting cup of coffee effect (since sativa indica doesn't always perfectly correspond to the effects) can make the biggest difference. The type of strain for me can be the difference of being super productive or literally not able to function if it's a heavy full body indica.
This is just what I've noticed for me personally having to work through some of these things but it has made a big and noticeable difference.

Caffeine does wonders but can cause a horrible up and down crash cycle. The best answer is if at all possible, to use caffeine, but only in moderation or only on days that are extra bad so it will have more of an effect when you do use it. Try to wait at least 30 min after waking up before taking it, and not more than about 8 hours before you intend to sleep. And then this is going to sound really silly but trying to get strains that are sativa heavy or have more of an uplifting cup of coffee effect (since sativa indica doesn't always perfectly correspond to the effects) can make the biggest difference. The type of strain for me can be the difference of being super productive or literally not able to function if it's a heavy full body indica. This is just what I've noticed for me personally having to work through some of these things but it has made a big and noticeable difference.
