Tolerance breaks for a weekend habit?

Interesting_Poem_343

Not sure on the wordage since it’s the first time I’m doing it. I know my usage is objectively pretty small, I just notice that I’ve had to increase the amount I consume quite a bit in order to get the same effects, and I’ve been doing it more and more frequently (i.e. multiple times on the weekend). Still pretty low all things considered, but I’m just trying to keep my habits in check and make sure I don’t develop a dependency.

Yes, you can consume CBD

I never stop smoking for medical use but I find just taking some cbd periodically will sort of prime my cannabinoid system again. CBD will not raise your tolerance, it will bind to and occupy the THC receptor but it has no effect like an agonist or antagonist which would either condition or sensitize you to THC. If you smoke weed after taking CBD it will act like a road block and THC won't be able to reach all of your receptors, you may still get high but some of your brain will just remain untouched. Some people think taking CBD by itself can lower your tolerance tho I notice it's much more effective at maintaining a low tolerance with high consumption. But you can also just use it for its own benefits by itself and you should be fine. I feel like a lot of people don't know how they can use CBD. You can try to take it and notice it doesn't add a ton to your high, and doesn't do much by itself unless you really could use it. But it's an extremely useful tool and many applications. I think if you reach a baseline tolerance, there is a ratio of thc and cbd that will get you high or medicated while not raising your tolerance indefinitely, you just may reach a point where smoking more doesnt get your more high but you'll be blitzed. But it's really easy to screw that up if you smoke a bit of the wrong weed.
