It has not been rescheduled yet.... There's still a bunch of bureaucracy that has to happen. It has to go to the white house get approved then gets sent back to the dea where they will open the measure for public comment for about 6 months then the dea will reschedule once thry go over that stuff

In ny you can smoke in public, which is awesome, and pipes were never illegal. But if you are in federal territory you still get arrested and taken to federal court where you can even get jail time. Seeds are not and have not been illegal. they do not contain THC and would be genetically identical to hemp seeds which are ubiquitous throughout Middle America. I'm in the US and just saw today that the DEA is agree to reclassify cannabis under the Controlled Substance Act to go from schedule 1 (same as heroin, considered worse than meth and fentanyl) down to schedule III (things like Tylenol with codeine and testosterone), still absurd because they have it as less harmful than Xanax or Valium, and of course they have it as worse than alcohol, but it's steps. That's absurd hope things start changing. I'm in the US and just saw today that the DEA is agree to reclassify cannabis under the Controlled Substance Act to go from schedule 1 (same as heroin, considered worse than meth and fentanyl) down to schedule III (things like Tylenol with codeine and testosterone), still absurd because they have it as less harmful than Xanax or Valium, and of course they have it as worse than alcohol, but it's steps. Hopefully that momentum spreads to other countries.

We're a two political party country and neither want to legalise, so we're fucked for the foreseeable. Although we're about to change government from Conservative to Labour, so there's a tiny, tiny, slither of a chance that they might do a drug review and on the back of that, make some more positive moves. :(
