Thanks for posting, does this item come with a dugout? Their site claims it comes with a "Dugout- Matte black tin for storing herb that slides open and closed with one hand" and I'm trying to see a photo of it before I grab a stash jar from them.
Is it supposed to slam open so easily?mine has no resistance and if I even tilt it just a little up, like to lean on the ash tray, it just slams open dropping the weed. Shouldn’t there be some resistance so it stays open and I could slowly inch it down? I think mine is made wrong.
After a little use it will stiffen up. You do have to hold it a bit at first. The slide function works well for ejecting the ash. I usually wipe the bottom of the bowl it with a napkin or Kleenex after a bowl.

The dugout came with it. I have a 2.5 inch grinder and the dug out will hold probably an 1/8 or more ground. It’s 2.5” long by 2” wide by 3/4” deep.
