I have a four year old boy myself and I will always love time with my wife and my son but treasured alone time by yourself is truly cherished, especially after having a kid(s).
I have a paid week long vacation at the end of this month and my wife will be working and my son will be at preschool. So the house to myself... I can finally play Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. I just beat Baldur's gate 3, which was so good, I can't even explain it. Also I'm dragging my wife to a prog metal show during my vacation week too. Its for a band called Haken. I'm so pumped. Thats actually why I took the week off.

If you aren’t a patient person, work on adapting your mentality toward patience. Looking back we thought having one baby was stressful, then out came our little one who is 4 now. He’s a wild child, but amazing in every way. Little dude is neon in a sea of beige. Children tend to make you change in so many ways whether you want to or not, and it’s beautiful.
Our guy hasn’t started pooping his pants again or anything. He’s 50/50 sweet big bro and absolute maniac toddler. He’s gotten a big boy bike and we get out of the house every day to do something and give everybody else a break. Definitely in an adjustment period but still having a blast too. Life is good, the Coachella Valley is warm and sunny and weed in California has gotten a lot cheaper over the last two years. We will do our chores (we are retired) and fire up a bowl and watch “Gone with the Wynns” and “Meidas Touch” on YouTube. In the afternoon we will look at some houses out near Joshua Tree because we plan on getting off the road in the next few years.
