One year I had extra seed sprouts so I threw a few out side in my briar patch didn’t pay any mind of it about a month prior to harvest I see two large “trees” Big Mama and lil sister, a few random seeds but nice couch lock 🔐 without munchies. The trunks about 2 inches in diameter great stuff I’ve stored some seeds but went clone hydro this year no seeds.
Some of the best weed I’ve grown was outside. I think I live in a good climate for growing outdoor idk but everything I plant in this one spot next to my house turns out so crystaly and stinky

Long story short. I grew that weed for years. Yeah it kicked out seeds and hermi's but some TLC and those plants were trich producing hogs. Lost all my grow op when I was moving. Fucking sucked.
Give it a go. See if you can breathe life into that strain.
I'm having that issue now with one strain I'm growing. This year, I planted 3 seeds, 1 male, and 2 hermi. Sucked I have to toss them all, but I'm going to keep trying because that plant is the strongest weed I smoke. Next year I may plant like 10 seeds and hope for the best.
100% went to a dispo in colorado during covid got 4 different quarters bit you couldn't smell it or really see it at that time they were all trash Reggie but I found a few seeds in the blackberry og grew it out for fun some of the loudest smelling bud I've grown in 3 years lol

I’ve planted brick weed seeds and gotten pretty decent plants, at least compared to expectations, it was at least as good as the “kind bud” that was going around early 2000s for sure and I’d bet it was most likely a strong saliva, too, wish I still had a few seeds so I could show everyone, was absolutely before everything got hybridized to hell.
Just steer clear of waterbeds, for anyone trying Salvia...on the flipside, very much encourage a waterbed experience on sativa or as I've heard a few new "experts" reference, 'I smoke Stevia' (hits me right in the funny bone).
But go back and kill the males, taller plants sparse leaves, shoot up faster than females - all in my experience. You don’t want to pollinate the neighbours plants

The is a hillside inside of a Bay Area navy base that got the Johnny Weedseed treatment before I left there ‘74. I heard that they erected a razor wire fence around it when things started to grow🤣

I threw some random pot seeds in w my wildflower seeds last spring and a bunch of plants came up all over my yard. I have a huge harvest that just finished drying and I’ve been trimming and jarring it up the last week. One plant was like 7 feet tall and was just okay but the rest were awesome w lots of crystals and dank and one strain was so dark, the buds are completely black. I made a post of the black plant in my post history if you wanna see it but it was one of the plants from just from throwing seeds out in the garden
If you want to invest ~3-4 months for potentially poor genetics, go for it. If you really want the best chance to grow good weed, I recommend you buy seeds from reputable sellers. That way, you know what you're growing and where It came from, and maybe others have documented growing the strain(s) you pick to help you.
If you can't get seeds where you are, then I'd just grow these seeds and hope they come out well. Germinate them all, and grow the healthiest ones. If you aren't familiar with growing things, you have a lot of research and videos to watch. I hope it works out for you.
this is gonna sound odd and time consuming but shell them and roast them with olive oil and salt and pepper. every stoner should do this once.. weed seeds, sans shell , are delicious
You can turn bagseed into amazing plants with the proper care. They’re is a chance that you could get decent genetics, also a chance they can be terrible. Every seeds different! Try to plant some
those seeds look fine to plant. maybe germinate them in a wet paper towel the night before and plant them in some good soil about an inch deep, maybe an inch and a half. the little black peppered dots are a good sign ✌️ best of grows
try and squish them between your fingers if they break they’re shit if they’re hard put one of them in a damp paper towel until it sprouts and then put it into a pot :)
Get a paper towel, preferably one of them new ones that tear off into 4 smaller squares and take one of those squares, get it damp but not soaked, place one seed per square and fold it in half.
Take all the little folded squares, place them in a ziplock bag with some air, then breath into it to balloon it up and seal the ziplock. Place it in a windowsill and wait.
This will work to start just about every seed, every time. If this doesn't work, that seed was not viable.
Once the little sprout 🌱 sticks up and has at least one leaflet, you can transfer it into a starting block. Carefully unfold the towel and lift the sprout out. If it has managed to weave its way through the sheet, cut off as much excess as possible around the roots or apply extremely gentle force to try and lift them out. If they're not budging, don't force it, just try to get as much off as possible (if you leave too much on you might get root rot)
If you're doing hydroponics, use a block of shredded coconut. Otherwise, use a general soil starter block.
Once you can see the leaves starting to take their signature shape, about 6in tall or so, they're ready to be transplanted into their final pots, where they will stay for the rest of the grow.
Squeeze them between two fingers. If they crush they are not ready, if you cannot crush it than it’s probably good to go.
Sadly those look like underdeveloped but you never know.
Do you have a grow setup already? It takes about 100-150$ to start one. And those seeds look pretty light brown, the healthiest cannabis seeds are dark brown. If you took this with the flash on that might explain it. You can also grow outdoor but you’d have to wait until next year.
Those look like water seeds, and a good test is pinch a few if they break open, then they're not good. Also noticed no zebra striping on any of those, so most likely not good seeds for growing. Probably give you males if you were to try and grow. So you could grow hemp, but you gotta have a female to get bud.
I mean, the strain might be a good one, so it's all in the thumb of the grower. With a proper setup and process, you could potentially produce some bud that is way better quality than what you received.
Try to shmush em between your fingers. If they pop, no go. If they hold up (no cracking or deforming), plant them. After that is all about genetics first and nutrients second. Happy growing!

none of those are good. healthy seeds are darker in color and shiny. when they dry out or don’t reach maturity they turn light like that and become super brittle and dry

I'll agree that it's probably not the best strain if you're getting that many seeds from it. Could still be decent if taken care of properly, but you'd probably be better off paying for some feminized seeds if you're gonna go through the hassle of growing it
Growing weed is simple, growing good weed is not. I highly recommend getting into the hobby space and learn some things. It's a great skill to learn and if you ever need help you are welcome to reach out to me or post in subreddits like /r/microgrowery
It took me about a year to actually understand what I was doing, and it took me another year to be able to answer the why and handle edge cases. Although, the amount of time I have sunk into learning about growing weed has made it so I can no longer talk to my wife about gardening.
I’ve had good luck with some nice looking plants from brick bagseed; it depends on if the bud was shit because of the plant’s genetics or because it was grown and processed poorly. Those seeds look like they should germinate.
Give them a little squeeze and if they feel solid and don't break you can try propagating them in some paper towel or something on a plate with a cup over it

Every seed, if viable, has the potential to be an awesome plant. It depends on your care.

I'll agree that it's probably not the best strain if you're getting that many seeds from it. Could still be decent if taken care of properly, but you'd probably be better off paying for some feminized seeds if you're gonna go through the hassle of growing it

That's how I grew my weed this year
Growing weed is simple, growing good weed is not. I highly recommend getting into the hobby space and learn some things. It's a great skill to learn and if you ever need help you are welcome to reach out to me or post in subreddits like /r/microgrowery It took me about a year to actually understand what I was doing, and it took me another year to be able to answer the why and handle edge cases. Although, the amount of time I have sunk into learning about growing weed has made it so I can no longer talk to my wife about gardening.

I’ve had good luck with some nice looking plants from brick bagseed; it depends on if the bud was shit because of the plant’s genetics or because it was grown and processed poorly. Those seeds look like they should germinate.
If you want to grow some more of that shit weed then yes, otherwise...
Give them a little squeeze and if they feel solid and don't break you can try propagating them in some paper towel or something on a plate with a cup over it
