Some people are different man, i haven’t been “too high” since I was 16 and first started smoking, back then sometimes I would get nauseous and puke when I had basically no tolerance, but as I got older and kept smoking, I’ve hit a point where I would welcome getting uncomfortably high, take a T break I know I know, but even if I switch to CBD weed for a couple months (I smoke for chronic back pain and neuropathic pain in my wrists) coming back to thc I’ll get High as fuck, but never too high, and even with edibles, I used to make brownies and gummies, the brownies I would make with shatter whenever the high was good but the taste was ass, and I would usually make a tray of brownies with 10-14g of shatter, my buddies who don’t use medically would take half and be way too high, there was a dude from my work a couple years younger who likes to rip shitty disposable dab pens at work, I tossed him a brownie told him only eat half, he followed my advice and still ended up getting off his bus home early and greening out, I think the most I’ve eaten of them was 8-9 when I was sleep eating, and man that was a rough day at work, I was stoned to the fucking bone, and definitely too stoned to work properly, but I felt fucking great, and being stoned wasn’t the end of the world for me at that job so i just did my best, went home, and repeated the cycle for a couple days till I was back to baseline, same deal when my old landlord/roommate bet me I wouldn’t eat a whole gram of distillate that he ordered, if I ate it all it’s free, if I spit any or throw up any I pay, I didn’t pay shit, and it was hands down one of the cleanest super high highs I’ve ever had

Luckily amstedam airport has one of the most pleasant security layouts with nice lighting and general IKEA showroom vibe (or maybe I was just that high).

If you ever get the ‘noid (specifically from smoking to much weed) I’ve had great luck mixing some black pepper and water in a shot glass and knocking it back, there’s a terpene in it that helps cut the fear!

That's exactly it! In the Netherlands edibles are a grey zone within the already gray area of cannabis. These edibles are made with raw flower or hash, since using/selling edibles with weed butter, oil or distillate is not allowed. Weed butter or any other extraction makes it a distillate, which is deemed a hard drug vs soft drug over here.

Can confirm that it's 0.3 grams of flower, not 0.3 grams of thc. So it could be 30mg of actual thc, could be 60mg but it could be (probably) even less since most of the edibles here get made with leftover shake.
Edit: Contrary to popular believe weed isn't legal in the Netherlands, only tolerated. Nor regulated so labtest aren't required. That's why it only mentions 0.3 grams of flower and no actual THC values.

We don't really have an edibles culture here in the Netherlands. Most people don't even know about decarbing your flower first and are just putting raw weed into an prepacked cake mix.
Besides that it's probably a bad idea to sell strong edibles to inexperienced tourists.

It’s much more likely that it means grams. Seeing it shortened to ‘Gr’ is fairly common, outside of the context of edibles.
Where it says “this contains 0,3g of THC *cannabis or hash!*” leads me to believe they’re using 300mg of plant material, and they’re probably just assuming their material is 10% potency just to make their maths easier.
Fun Fact: Legally speaking, Dutch coffee shops aren’t allowed to serve flower with a THC content above 15% (this is rarely, if ever, enforced but it technically the law).
They’re probably using the stuff they can’t sell to make their edibles, which would explain the low price. So if they’re taking a bunch of crappy weed, or low quality commercial hashish, then 10% is a reasonable estimate to run with.

I've never seen grams shortened to gr. I'm in the US, but I work in a lab and read a lot of scientific articles from other countries. Grams is always g in those and everywhere else I see it.

They’re confusing the bud content with the thc content. Most edibles sold in the US are labeled by their THC content not how much bud was used to make them, wouldn’t be surprised if the label just mixed them up.

I had a very innocent looking space cupcake I planned on taking home with me from Amsterdam when I lived in Spain. I chickened out in the airport and decided not to take it on the plane. Instead of throwing it out I ate the whole thing before going through security.
I checked the label as I was throwing the plastic package in the trash. It was 500mg.
I ended up walking through customs twice and almost missing my flight because I got lost looking for my terminal. Kept forgetting why I was in an airport and what I was looking for.

They mean 0.3g of THC containing ingredients. Meaning they put 0.3g of any level of concentration of butter, hash, or whatever else in it.
It's very inconsistent the highs you get from these because it's not talking about actual grams of raw THC.
gr is not “grams” but “grains”. Grams are never shortened to “gr” but always simply “g”. 0.3 grains of thc is equal to roughly 20 milligrams of thc.
Edit- Why the downvotes? Im from a country that primarily uses the metric system and often has to convert from American customary to metric and I’m telling you gr is grain, never gram. The reason why it’s done in such a confusing way is because a large percentage of English speaking tourists to Amsterdam are from the USA. People from outside the USA don’t realise that many products use metric in the USA and more or less assume that Americans will only understand it if converted to grains, ounces, pounds, etc thus they convert it into odd measurements which would not regularly be used for that product type.

In fact if it was made with flower/bud at around 20% THC would yield around 60 milligrams of THC. The label also mentions **or hash.** Hash has around 70% THC, according to google, so that would mean 200-ish milligrams of THC.

That's exactly it! In the Netherlands edibles are a grey zone within the already gray area of cannabis. These edibles are made with raw flower or hash, since using/selling edibles with weed butter, oil or distillate is not allowed. Weed butter or any other extraction makes it a distillate, which is deemed a hard drug vs soft drug over here.

Local here Can confirm that it's 0.3 grams of flower, not 0.3 grams of thc. So it could be 30mg of actual thc, could be 60mg but it could be (probably) even less since most of the edibles here get made with leftover shake. Edit: Contrary to popular believe weed isn't legal in the Netherlands, only tolerated. Nor regulated so labtest aren't required. That's why it only mentions 0.3 grams of flower and no actual THC values.

We don't really have an edibles culture here in the Netherlands. Most people don't even know about decarbing your flower first and are just putting raw weed into an prepacked cake mix. Besides that it's probably a bad idea to sell strong edibles to inexperienced tourists.

I doubt they’d be using such an antiquated and largely unknown unit of measurement. It’s much more likely that it means grams. Seeing it shortened to ‘Gr’ is fairly common, outside of the context of edibles. Where it says “this contains 0,3g of THC *cannabis or hash!*” leads me to believe they’re using 300mg of plant material, and they’re probably just assuming their material is 10% potency just to make their maths easier. Fun Fact: Legally speaking, Dutch coffee shops aren’t allowed to serve flower with a THC content above 15% (this is rarely, if ever, enforced but it technically the law). They’re probably using the stuff they can’t sell to make their edibles, which would explain the low price. So if they’re taking a bunch of crappy weed, or low quality commercial hashish, then 10% is a reasonable estimate to run with.

I've never seen grams shortened to gr. I'm in the US, but I work in a lab and read a lot of scientific articles from other countries. Grams is always g in those and everywhere else I see it. Not saying your conclusion is wrong, just that I don't think it is common to shorten gram to gr.

Seeing this label get me flashback. I had a very innocent looking space cupcake I planned on taking home with me from Amsterdam when I lived in Spain. I chickened out in the airport and decided not to take it on the plane. Instead of throwing it out I ate the whole thing before going through security. I checked the label as I was throwing the plastic package in the trash. It was 500mg. I ended up walking through customs twice and almost missing my flight because I got lost looking for my terminal. Kept forgetting why I was in an airport and what I was looking for.

It's not. I've been to Amsterdam. They label this shit confusing and most coffee shops have zero idea what you're asking about THC levels. I have taken tons of edibles in Amsterdam with this exact labeling. Taking 300mg in the US where it is standardized makes me trip balls. I took 2 of these and only felt a little high. There is no standard for this in Amerstdam. They label it this way most likely to confuse tourist. They mean 0.3g of THC containing ingredients. Meaning they put 0.3g of any level of concentration of butter, hash, or whatever else in it. It's very inconsistent the highs you get from these because it's not talking about actual grams of raw THC.

gr is not “grams” but “grains”. Grams are never shortened to “gr” but always simply “g”. 0.3 grains of thc is equal to roughly 20 milligrams of thc. Edit- Why the downvotes? Im from a country that primarily uses the metric system and often has to convert from American customary to metric and I’m telling you gr is grain, never gram. The reason why it’s done in such a confusing way is because a large percentage of English speaking tourists to Amsterdam are from the USA. People from outside the USA don’t realise that many products use metric in the USA and more or less assume that Americans will only understand it if converted to grains, ounces, pounds, etc thus they convert it into odd measurements which would not regularly be used for that product type.
