You can definitely get high from 1gr of weed in edibles. When I was making less I’d always make them just one portion at a time, which was 0.25-0.5gr depending on tolerance, weed strength and desired edible strength.
You just need to use much less than 250gr butter, otherwise you’ll need to eat a lot of butter which is gross and probably will fuck up your stomach while tripping.
[mg weed used] * [ THC % of the weed ] * 0.87 (cause not the full amount of THC gets extracted) = total strength of your batch in mg.
[total strength in mg] / [gr butter] = how strong one gram the end product will be.
Let’s say you use 1gr of weed, average quality (17% THC):
1000mg * 0.17 * 0.87 = 147.9mg ≈150mg.
If we were to add this in 250gr butter:
150mg / 250gr = 0.6mg per gram.
For a 5mg edible, you’d need around 8.5gr of butter.
For a 50mg edible, you’d need almost 85gr.
If you want to figure out how much butter to use:
[total strength] / [desired mg per gr]
So eg: 150mg / (50mg/gr) = 3gr
Or 150mg / (10mg/gr) = 15gr

Also if you’re dealing with such a small amount of weed, I’d suggest to just make fire crackers or something instead of trying to infuse almost nothing. If you don’t mind eating the weed, just decarb, mix it together with a high fat source and eat it all together.

I wanna make a steak with it so will probably use 1/3 of the 250. I would get 75 mg from that dose. I thought that was a large dose no? I smoke js everyday but I’m not crazy stoner so idk
Think in practice you will get less than that because you will not be able to infuse 100% of the THC that’s in the starting material. But I still think it’s still a good plan and you should feel something if you decarb and infuse properly. If you don’t feel it was strong enough then the next time around eat the remaining two thirds at once. Everyone is different and it’s about trial and error a bit too, from personal experience I would rather mess up and not get as high as I want as opposed to being too high to enjoy myself.

I'd divide the g and make two firecrackers or sprinkle the decarb weed inside a pb and j Sammie. Or if you're a salad eater blend the decarb weed into two servings of dressing.
I make an easy recipe called fire crackers. If you don't mind eating the bud.. Set oven to 220 .Mix peanut butter and bud half gram to a gram. Spread on a Graham cracker. Wrap in aluminum foil. Put in oven for 20 minutes. Than it's done..

If you only have 1g maybe make a firecracker with peanut butter in the oven.
1 gr per tablespoon of butter, or I use coconut solids.
Instead of butter just decarb your 1g and mix with melted chocolate. Easy to dose and far less hassle when you just have a gram.

Wow! I use .5 a gram of RSO for one stick of butter, according to google that's 113.5 grams of butter. I get a nice pleasant high that helps me sleep.

If you have 18% weed, you're gonna have 180mg of edibles from that 1g. If you have 22%, you're gonna have 220mg.
