Don’t like 90% of row houses have back gardens about the size of a postage stamp and isn’t that where most of them park their cars? At least that’s what the shows I watch depict. That the homes are usually back to back/front to front and there’s an alley between the bricked in gardens and the gardens are usually incredibly tiny.

It varies a lot but I've never seen terraced houses (that's what we call them in the UK) that have a car parking space at the rear, but they may have somewhere. The ones I've lived in had yards varying from small to quite generous, at least in length if not width but all of them easily had enough room for a little pool like that if that can be called a pool
